Do you know of authors that write under different pen names? I would like to know.

I know that Nora Roberts is J.D. Robb.

I know that Jayne Anne Krentz is Jayne Castle and Amanda Quick.
Lynn Viehl is S.L. Viehl and Gena Hale,Jessica Hall and Rebecca Kelly. I don't even think Viehl is her name. She just uses different pen names depending on the genre.
Anne Rice was Anne Rampling and A.N. Roquelaure.

Apparently Kristina Douglas (Raziel) is Anne Stuart.

Oh, gosh, there are a lot of them, a few off the top of my head...

-J.R. Ward is also Jessica Bird

- Sandra Brown has written some harlequins/silhouettes under the names Rachel Ryan and Erin St. Claire

- Barbara Samuel also writes as Ruth Wind

-Brenda Joyce writes a set of really nice mystery novels under he name BD Joyce

- Stephen King is also Richard Bachmann

I have a funny story about writer and different names I was searching for a book once, and a couple of people kept saying that it sounded like Sandra Brown, and I was like no can't be I don't like Sandra Brown, then one lady was like it could be sandra brown she use to write under erin st.claire and sure enough I looked it up and of course it was the book I was looking for, but still don't like sandra brown, but I do like erin st.claire.. werid huh

lol Reading. Some authors write under different name and although they are the same person, their stories are different. I guess it's, because of the different genre they are writing. If they are using different names for the same genre, then it's the path each story is taking that makes author's writing sound different.
