When I was growing up in the 60s, the werewolf was my favorite monster. Savage and bestial, the creature haunted the dark woods of my imagination. Lately, they've been portrayed as romantic interests and objects of tween fantasy. Where is the fierce beast I learned to love/fear as a child? They exist in my new novel Ebon Moon. The frightening story of an abused wife who hides from her violent husband in a small town in Oklahoma.
