I'm pretty sure Gail used to have an avatar, a sort of spooky-looking silhouette of a standing figure--always reminded me of a Leon Golub painting.
Ha ha a figment of your imagination LG. It must be my bubbly personality shining through.
I really can't live without my avatar. I have to put it back I feel nude.
I also feel that if someone goes back and edits their comment, and they delete the entire thing and says something like "whoops, so glad I edited that," then they should just delete the comment 'cause it just leaves us wondering, "well, what the hell did they say???"

I edit all the time, usually for clarification or bad grammar. I just never tell you suckas. People have the right to edit at their leisure. The lack of an avatar drives me unreasonably bonkers.
I'm a big fan of peer pressure. We're like a slightly more civil middle school that way."What...you don't have an avatar? EVERYONE has an avatar! You must get one!"
I'd rather have someone edit than delete a comment, because when you delete a comment the thread loses its red numbers and you think nobody new has posted.
