Moving books from Nook to computer

I think that when you plug in your nook if you go to the folder like a media device you can find them in a folder called B&N downloads.
All books purchased from B&N have DRM and you cannot share them. In fact they can only be read by the Nook ereader. Other Nooks would be able to read them but you would have to give the person your name and credit card number.
Gotcha. It looks like someone I know might have just given me a possible work-around, but I doubt I'll try it, since it's probably not legal.
I don't know about sharing them, but for personal use, you can load them in Adobe Digital Reader and read many of them there. (Not including Kids Read to Me)
I just started all this, but in "my library" at B&N it includes a button to download files. I assumed this is to have your own copies backed up on your computer.

Is there a way to copy books from my Nook to my computer so I can fileshare them?
