Team Zombie! Zombies are just more interesting. I don't even know why they chose unicorns against zombies, seeing how different they are. The anthology was really entertaining though, and I really liked it (except the unicorn stories... blech).

It's like talking about what is better apples or oranges. Pointless!!

Zombies were pulling through for me, but with The Care and Feeding of your Baby Killer Unicorn and Princess Prettypants (which I was VERY sceptical of at first, based on the name) I hate to say it, but Team Unicorn won it for me.

I was very skeptical about Princess Prettypants too! I really did not expect to like it as much as I did.

Sure it's for fun but even fun book have a point! This one did not!

Yes I enjoyed the banter between the teams but I had a lot of things that I didn't like with this book than like so that is why I have to say that I disliked the book.
One story and some banter isn't enough for me to say that I liked the book.

I want to post a picture of a great horse (not a unicorn) that is posted right outside the Denver International Airport. It reminds me off all the unicorns in this book! It's eyes glow red at night... it is kinda cool! The statue even KILLED the artist who created it (I am NOT joking!) Read more about it here:

I wish I would've been able to read this book with the group. I know in this group you can always add posts after the book has been read but it is just not the same. :(
Anyways.... I really liked this book. I usually like anthologies though so I am not surprised. I am actually Team Unicorn! I thought those stories were the most creative and the ones that have stuck in my head the most. I mean killer unicorns, beastiality! (I think I spelled that right).
I agree with Colberto... I see Amber didn't like the book but it was really just for fun. The title itself pretty much tells me not to take the book too seriously.
I too didn't like the editorial banter. I was surprised about the banter for the last story saying it was the best one in the book. I wondered how that made the other authors feel? But I guess if there wasn't that banter we wouldn't have been so into the whole zombie vs unicorn debate. Fun book... good pick!!!!!!
