I finished
and was surprised how much I enjoyed the book. I especially love the chat room exchanges. Cute. I give the book 4 stars.
I finished reading
for 'Midnight in Austenland' by Shannon Hale ☆☆☆It was a quick read so I can not say I did not enjoy it but... Jane Hayes was so indecisive and intense, I just could not understand her and connect with her character. I was disappointed with the institution of Austenland - felt very fake and somehow lame. I think I will not revisit it by reading Midnight in Austenland.
Random Book List #90
Where She Went by Gayle Forman
Finished: 8/6/2012
Rating: **
I would've liked this book better if the story was told from Mia's point of view. Hearing Adam's side the story was interesting at first but by the end of the book he was wearing on me. He just sounded really whiny at the end and I just wanted to tell him to grow up. I would've rather of heard Mia's side of the story instead.

Violet Eyes: A Retelling of the "Princess and the Pea" by Debbie Vigui
I've been meaning to read Jackson Pearce's fairytale retellings, so perhaps I'll begin my introduction to her writing with As You Wish. I have a nice 'to read' list building. Hope I can squeeze it in.
I finished As You Wish today 8/23. This was just ok. I liked Jinn but had a hard time warming up to Viola. It was a quick read, a cute idea, but I felt that it could have been better. 3*
Forgot to post. I read
last August 24. A 5-star read for me. Lisa Kleypas does magical realism as well as she does historicals.
Ana wrote: "i plan to read The Last Unicorn"I got that as my audio book of the month from audible :-) Hope I won't cry as much as I do when watching the film
Nice addition to the series. A lot of things that were bugging me (like why Lassiter is here) are revealed.
I finished two books today: The last Unicorn was my audio book for this month and I loved it just as much as I love the film. Not sure why I never even knew that there was a book too, but I'm glad I found it now. 5 stars
City of Bones for City of Ashes - don't think I'll read the next one in the series, was disappointed that characters and parts of the story were so similar to the Clockwork Angel series. Just 3 stars
finished
today. One ★. This was PURE TORTURE. I have no idea why I decided to put the 2nd book on my TBR... will not be picking up the 3rd. After giving her 3 chances, I'm totally done with this author.
I finished
for the
on 14 sep. A very excellent conclusion to the Mistborn trilogy. I gave it 5 stars.
I read
and finished it on 9/16/12. I give this book 2 stars. The action didn't realy start until the last quarter of the book. Also you didn't really know what was going on until then too. The first part was just boring. I hope the rest of the series gets better.
Random Book List #95I read
and loved it! I grew up watching the movie and I had never tried reading the book before, so it was neat reading one of my favorite stories. After I read the book I bought the DVD for my daughter, so we're going to watch it tonight! *****

interesting list with more than one book I'd like to read...
sounds good, but so does
- I've read a short story from her in this verse and really liked it

that's why I'm so addicted to these challenges! You get to read outside your comfort zone. Love it!
I've never done one of these random book list challenges, I'm in. I'm going to read
. I've had a copy of this book on my shelf for a very long long time and I haven't even gave it a thought to read it. So now I will.
Well thought I'd step out of my comfort zone and read both Veronica Roth's Insurgent, which is part of the challenge and Divergent, which is book 1 in the series.
I finished
last night. Despite my doubts, it turned out to be intriguing enough to make it a fast read. I'm definitely interested in reading Book 2.
In the end I read The Audition and then liked the prequel so much that I read Seraphina too. :DBoth were solid 4 star reads.
I liked it. Nice fantasy with light romantic elements. I especially liked the descriptions of relations between dragons and men and different views of each other.
I finished
yesterday, 18 Oct. It was pretty awesome. I rated it 4 stars and I'll definitely be picking up other books by the author.
I finished
today and really liked it, will have a look at the prequel and am looking forward to the release of the next book. A solid 4 stars from me
Dragana wrote: "I liked it. Nice fantasy with light romantic elements. I'm curious where the story goes in the next book
read both
and
. ★★★★I love a well-written YA fantasy. For a debut novel, quite excellent. The heroine's relationships with the various father figures were intriguing, especially in light of the missing maternal influence. Definitely reading the sequel.
