About That Night - ★★★★★ - 11 Jun 13 (instead of Love Irresistibly).
Nine years ago, Kyle Rhodes flirted with Rylann Pierce. He asked her out on a date, but a tragic accident prevented it from taking place.
Their paths cross again when the FBI and US Attorney's office uphold their agreement with Kyle's sister Jordan -- his early release from prison for her cooperation in an undercover investigation. Though the spark of attraction is still there, neither are looking for a relationship at first. The whole Twitter debacle happened because Kyle's girlfriend broke up with him, in a spectacular way, via the social media service. And Rylann broke up with her ex when she realized they weren't on the same page in regards to the direction of their relationship.
What I liked is, even though he'd been the one dumped and had initially sworn off making any commitments, Kyle is the one who first come to the realization that he wants more from the relationship. Rylann, unflappable and confident in the courtroom, is hesitant about getting more involved.
I also liked the Rhodes family, as a whole. Grey Rhodes didn't disinherit his son and they still have a close relationship. They are a supportive and loving family.

I just finished
and it was almost painful to finish. I didn't like the main characters at all. I think they made some pretty dumb decisions that I have no sympathy for them at all. Interesting background premise, though.2 stars.
Random Book List #140I finished reading Sand Castle Bay by Sherryl Woods and it was ok. I liked the story but if I had to hear one more time about how wonderful Safe Houses were for battered women, I was going to vomit. It was like no one ever heard of them and she had to tell EVERYONE in the story about them and how important they are. It got very "after-school spectial" at the end.

Random Book List #145I finished
and I gave it 5 stars! It was awesome, but I kept comparing it to that TV show Naked and Afraid. Of all the episodes and throughout this book I'm always shocked that no one ever thinks of weaving leaves. I only saw 1 person on that show weave stuff with leaves and it ended up being the most useful skill short of making a fire. But it was still really good, I pretty much read the entire thing in less than 24 hours.

and it was ok. It was like 50 Shades of Gray but shorter with less annoying catch phrases. I wish the author had tried a bit harder to distinguish Gabe from Christian Gray but I'm a bdsm erotic novice so maybe it was just me.
I'm going to read "How to kill a Rock Star" already read the sample and loved it!!!!

for this challenge. It was quite depressing but highly engrossing. Typical of slice-of-life books, it did not have a "real" ending. I rated it 5 stars.

If you are intrigued with BDSM, you should try Cherise Sinclair's Shadowlands series. I highly recommend it.

, today, 10/28.I thought it was ok. It felt like one book split into 3 parts so the author could stretch it into a trilogy. It ended at a strange part, something kind of minor. The story was also ok, but I didn't feel very invested in the characters. 3*
Random Book List #155I finished Someday, Someday, Maybe by Lauren Graham and loved it! It was really funny and had lots of 90s references that made me feel old, but that's ok :) I didn't recognize the author until I actually looked at her picture and it's the mom from Gilmore Girls! I was impressed that this was her first book, I hope she writes some more!

last October 22. I thought the drama was a little less intense than Undeniable and Sheehan has a writing style that just grips you...whether you like it or not. 4 stars.
