Powers: Jumping... something like a form of telepathy. The power to surpresss peoples minds and powers through intense concentration. Sometimes it comeseasier when he touches the person but it is a power he rarely uses.

Personality: He is weary of everybody and everything. He likes to keep a safe distances between everybody and himself. He's afraid that if he get's too close, it will end up like with Lila. He can come across harsh and uncaring, when truly it is the opposite. The best he feels he can do is, stay away from the ones he loves. He tries his hardest to pretend not to care but he can't seem to kill that loving, charming nature.

Relationships: Killed his one love in life, Lila, swore he would never fall in love again. Perhaps that is why he can be so distant at times. The story of Lila will most likely be revealed in the role play. Eh, most likely.
Hometown: He grew up from city to city. As a child his powers were even more out of control. Luckily his temper cooled in later ages. He caused much destruction during those days so he had to move a lot. He hates to admit it, but he is almost sure his parents were afraid of him, thought him a freak. Let's say his parent's were graced with powers though. Finally after being so fearful his parents left him in the middle of the night, with tons of money in a bank account. The money never runs out. He suspects his parents are rich... Anyways his parents abandon him in a small town in California, Fort bragg. Something about the ocean soothed his moods. He stayed there, till moving to wherever the rest of the people are.
Occupation: He is famous for painting and photography. Well it's more his work is famous. He has managed to make a living off of his true loves in life, those two things. It would be difficult to not do anything like this.
Powers: When he becomes angry it seems fire is in his aura, and he is a danger to anyone around him. The intensiveness of his temper is so badly that he unconsciously causes hurt, pain, and sometimes worse to those who angered him. He can't control it, so he is extremely dangerous when mad. Luckily, his temper is long and few things penetrate that. It takes much to anger him.
To counteract the dangerous power he posses is a calming power. He is graced with the power to cool all emotions around him. This alone makes the anger rarely happen. He cannot control his own anger though, the ending to that power is inevitable, once in motion. Not many people understand the nature of that power...including me... He is still working out the kinks in that power, but for simpler emotions it works wonderfully. He cannot control love. He has attempted it for the helluva it and failed miserably.

Thanks :). I was honestly not sure of what ability to give her. I even went to the wiki site for Heroes and scrolled through the abilities, but figured the sense memory thing could muck things up later on when she starts getting random memories.

It's the return of Mrs. Type Happy :P. Woolfie, I gave in and decided to make another character, a guy this time. And he works for The Office. We didn't have any Office players yet, so I'm the first ;).
Name: Ivan Stanislav
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Personality: Ivan is a stickler for the rules. It is his adherence to protocol that has earned him a high ranking position at such a young age. He tends to be rather closed off, though he can open up when he finds someone he thinks is genuine. Ivan is not particularly friendly, though he can project a kind air when he needs it for work. There is only one person with whom he is can even attempt to open up to—though he has many secrets he cannot share; that person is his mother. Ivan is dedicated to his work, fully and completely believing in everything The Office is trying to accomplish. He does not hold any discrimination against The Gifted, but he is wary of them as he would be to any new person he met. Though he would never freely admit it, he finds many of The Gifted intimidating; depending on their ability.
Appearance: Ivan stands 6’1” with closely cropped dark hair. He is slightly muscular and has dark eyes and tan skin. He is of Russian descent.

He has no siblings and his father died shortly after he was born. The circumstances involving his father’s death still remain a mystery to him, though he hasn’t given up searching for answers. He has had an interest in Tiamara Winger after seeing her in a film. He’s seen her around town a few times, but has yet to gain the courage to speak to her. He has only had one serious relationship in his life, but it ended badly when he found out she’d been having an affair with her boss. Since then, Ivan has shied away from women in general. His father was ‘Gifted’, having the ability to form and manipulate fire. As a result, Ivan gained a power himself, though he remains as yet ignorant to this fact.

Occupation: Ivan works as a ‘tagger’ for The Office. He started as a field agent, a ‘bagger’, so to speak. Now, his job is to find ‘The Gifted’, and send out groups to retrieve them. His latest assignment is for a Scottish girl named Vi’tra Deatra Colemann. The Office has tracked her all the way from their location in Scotland to the one in L.A. Ivan located her in town and sent a ‘tracker’ to follow her movements. Rumors of her ability to possibly freeze time itself has become of great interest to The Office, and especially to Ivan’s boss. This will be a career making assignment, one that will give him the clout he needs for a promotion.
Powers: Ivan has the ability to locate other ‘Gifted’ ones. He doesn’t recognize this as an ability, though, and thinks of it more as a talent for his job. He has successfully located over fifty ‘Gifted’ ones during his employment with The Office.
Other: In his spare time, Ivan still searches for information on his father’s death. He still believes there is something . . . not right with the story he was fed as a child. He is determined to learn the truth. What he doesn’t know is that ‘The Office’ was involved in his father’s death, and already have a clue of his ability.

Yeah I meant from the movie jumper. I was justmaking the whole teleportation a little different. It's beyond quick howfast he can do it and pretty much is so used to it he does it without thinking. I just varied it from jumper that he doesnt actually have to see the place before he can teleport there. I jsut call it jumping cause it's easier and sounds cooler :P

Personality: Enna is somebody that will not trust easily. You know she trusts you when she reveals her life story, of confides in you. Once she trusts you, it's hard to break that trust. She loves talking to people that she cares for, even though that's few people. If you don't know her she can seem quiet and distant, but once you know her she is not really any of that. It takes a lot to bring her out of her shell though. Occasionally a full time job.

Relationships: Her family is all dead, they all had her same powers or varied slightly. They all went insane, a little power happy apparently. They killed themselves, the insanity was too hard to cope with. Kai 'Enna was forced to watch this, she watched them all go through the stages. She was just a child at the time.
She had been so traumatized by the experience that she could never bring herself to truly love somebody. She had many flings, but constantly found the faults in people.
Hometown: Kai grew up in a small loving town in England. She was moved to the Isle of Wight, and eventually London. She loved it there, but the memories, they were much too painful to be exposed to constantly. She has an accent, an English one, if you didn't all ready guess.
Occupation: Kai 'Enna is a strong lover in animals, in all things nature. She volunteers at a Vet office and is going to school part time to become a Veterinarian. Her love of animals, forced her to give up meat of any kind. She's been a vegetarian for 5 years, and is extremely proud of herself.
Powers: Kai hears voices inside of her head. They aren't the normal psychopathic voices. They are people's inner thoughts, almost. She hears what people are thinking. She hears what animals are thinking, which is why she is so good with them.
Kai deeply believes that people have a voice inside them. It's the voice of their soul that speaks to her even more importantly than anything else. This voice speaks to her of a person's true feelings, not just their thoughts. It sometimes reveals their pasts, but not always. This is a person's pure voice. She hates hearing this voice because eventually, she knows what will happen to her.

Personality: Candice has always been the girl all the bad boys want; gifted with both brains and beauty, she is a natural manipulator using her wits and her tits (sorry is this is crude) to get what she wants. She’s a social chameleon, a flawless liar and a convincing actress. She has a tendency to be very fixed on her goals and does not tolerate imperfection, her approach to rules is simple, they were made to be bent, and she relishes doing so without really breaking them. As this predilection would suggest, Candice is a consummate career woman. Her role with The Office comes first, though she does like to keep a little action on the side. She is always working an angle and rarely reveals her true self to anyone except her pet Siamese, Dulcet. Her proven track record of getting the job done has afforded her a degree of license which she uses to toy with her prey. She rarely shows fear, because as we shall see, she has little to fear from the Gifted.
Appearance: Candice is 5ft 10 ins. with a lithe, curvy figure that is mostly lean muscle, she has an athletes build and a models swagger. She has long, wavy red hair and green eyes. ( Think Marvel's Black Widow:p)
Relationships: Candice is the eldest of two children born to Xander and Sofia Van Der Meyer, who live In Beverly Hills. Her father is the founder and Chairman of VDM Inc., dealing in high-end real estate. Candice is the darling of her parents and her younger brother Stefan has always despised her for it. Daddy’s girl through and through Candice has had practice in the art of manipulation from a very young age, but rejected the lifestyle of a socialite, an aspect of femininity she considers to be ’the playground for the shameless and mentally retarded’, however she is a quick study and can glam it up with the best of them. She has little time for relationships in her professional capacity, but considers breaking her partner, Ivan, as a challenge.

That's actually not a bad idea; the different threads. I'm in a group that is a school, and there are different threads for the classrooms, hallways, dorms, etc. But I digress.
Ivan, Alicia's character and Brandon's character are at the beach, but none of us have talked to anyone yet. I think Brandon's character is on the boardwalk near Ivan, but they haven't met, and Alicia's character is down by the water.

Personality: Bale is a loner by experience, he is resolute, some would say obssessed. Has little patience for unnecessities but he is not an unlikeable person. He is a haunted shadow of the man he was, but he retains his compassion, belief in people and his inextinguishable belief in the innate evil in everyone(formerly a naive belief that goodness was in everyone) He is cautious, some would say paranoid, but he would say with good reason. Can be surprisingly tender, courteous and charming. He is charismatic,straight-laced, and a gentleman.
Background:
The man who was born James Bale is no more. He once was a carefree, easygoing boy, one of many who lived in uptown Cardiff, Wales. But everything changed when the Office discovered his abilities. Jamie had always been an outdoors person, you would rarely find him inside regardless of the weather, and he was always at ease outside ‘under the eyes of heaven’. Since youth he was a survivor, independent even as a child. If his mother ever noticed that her only son was never ill or seemed to be the worse for wear after his jaunts out into the lonely, but beautiful Welsh vales and hills, she put it down to the fact that ‘the lad knew what he was doing’. The only trouble was others also knew what he was doing, or to be more precise, what he was. Posing as a couple camping in the wilderness, a 'tag and bag' team apprehended him.
That was 10 years ago, and he had been 16. The remarkable thing about Jamie was that his abilities had manifested in utero, highly unusual for gifted, who normally ‘came into their powers’ at the onset of puberty. His mother Tabitha Bale had been astonished and pleased at how healthy her pregnancy had made her feel. She attributed it to eating well, and the fact that she came from a family of long-lived and healthy people, which had something to do with it, but nowhere near enough to be the sole reason for her enlivened state. Office scientists theorized thatpuberty would accelerate Jamie’s abilities exponentially, and plotted the ‘optimum time of acquisition’.
Jamie has spent the past 5 years in an Office Scientific Facility in the small farming town of Hereford in Herefordshire, England.(The Facility could not be in a densely populated place for fear that should the Gifted ever escape, finding them would be like searching for a needle in a haystack) 5 years ago he was moved to HQ in London. The move coincided with the perfecting of a genetic tracker which the Science Unit had named ‘Cerberus’ , a biochemical substance designed to adhere to the DNA of the gifted, which would broadcast their location at Central Watch, deep in the bowels of HQ. Until a year ago, Jamie was exploited for his abilities, but gradually something occurred, something none of the Science Core had anticipated; a secondary mutation. It started when feeling lonely, Jamie had reached out to caress the red petals of a scarlet Carson, his favourite flower, and his only luxury permitted him. To his horror, the rose blackened and wilted before his eyes. He had been thinking, as he had been thinking for a long time, that he would die here, that he would never again feel this kiss of the wind on his cheeks. Thinking of death had somehow killed the plant.
His next move was to test his theory; he tried it during flu season where the number of employees contracting the disease was put down to how naturally contagious it was. Flu is contagious, but this time Jamie ‘helped’ it along. Convinced he could make people ill just by willing it, he poisoned his handlers and escaped, but not before irretrievably destroying the Cerberus production unit, triggering a nitroglycerine conflagration that destroyed Central Watch. (Later, with the aid of his friend, genius computer hacker Declan ‘Dec’ Marx, all traces of the insidious formula was wiped from the Office mainframe, and the formula for Cerberus is lost forever, much to the fury of the Officials, a board of 9 who head the Office.)
He escaped to America, hoping to disappear from the radar amongst the teeming multitude, but the Office has used Interpol to set up a worldwide manhunt for ’the Nitro Bomber’. His family believes him to be dead, his murder was fabricated by the Office and his grave lies empty, as his body has never been found.
His recent discovery of the Office’s decision to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska, has awakened revenge in him, and merely hiding has ceased to be his aim, and he has sworn to undo the work they did with his unwilling aid, and to save the Gifted from the Office.

Relationships:
He has been tempted many a time to reveal himself to his mother and father, but has decided that to do so would only cause them unnecessary grief, and the dark reality of his life as it is now would sully the bright image that they had of him. But more importantly, the Office are ruthless, and he doesn’t want his parents to suffer at their merciless hands.
He leads an underground resistance to the Office’s ‘tag and bag’ policy, with the goal of toppling The Office once and for all. Thus far he has recruited a team of 7 counter operatives. They keep tabs on the ‘Employees’, The Office’s field agents, in attempt to get to the Gifted before they do, by using the Offices advanced locator network.

Powers:
Uncharted healing capabilities; he can heal from any injury in a matter of minutes. Fatal injuries tend to take longer, but he is virtually immortal.
His immune system automatically creates a defence against any infection. It is this ability that made him a target for The Office. With his abilities cures for all known diseases have been found, even cancer. The reason this fact has not been made public is simple; greed. The cures are sold to the ’right bidder’ at the highest price.
Secondary mutation cam about after he was injected with a deadly cocktail of genetically manufactured diseases (biochemical weapons are tested on him so that the military possess the only cures for their deadly germ warfare). Previously he could only manufacture antibodies to combat and cure disease, but now he can produce diseases that he can expel and disseminate through breath, touch and bodily fluids.
Has developed a ‘death touch’; anyone he touches will decay immediately upon contact. (He has little control over this, and even less willingness to use it, so he wears a containment suit, which fits seamlessly like a transparent layer of skin.
Other; Because of his fear that he might accidentally contaminate anyone he never gets close to anyone.
His gift has transformed an affable. sociable young man, into an introverted, haunted loner
Wow. That is a great character, Woolfie :). His story is so tragic. I like his ability . . . and the fact that it does come with a downside. It makes it more real :).

Yeah, I was thinking of a biological link as well. Like a gene mutation that developed as a result of some event (though I don't know what event).
