I want to see the movie too! It seems to b really good. But beware- the book is extremely long, but if you enjoy the book, the length doesn't really matter!

Beautifully written. If you read without having watched the film, I think you’ll enjoy it a whole lot more, as they did change a few things up in the film.

The *film* was extremely long! Haha... Stunning though. I fell in love with Eddie Redmayne.

I don't think I'll mind the book being long, just as long as I have a box of Kleenex on hand..

I read the Lovely Bones when it first came out several years ago and it was the first book that I actually had to stop in the middle and give myself a break from it. It was an emotional book for me to read at that time in my life and I cried many times while I read it. It really is an emotional book - I liked it a lot.

I wasn't sure about even starting it when it first came out, but my sister-in-law had read it for her bookclub and bought it for me. It as a very emotionally draining book, but I had to finish it as fast as I could. (I needed them to find her... ) The book was very good, but I had absolutely no desire to put myself through that again and see the movie. Probably not a book I will reread, even though I think it was a really good read.

The movie, I thought was done well, not too graphic and it left a lot of the horror unsaid. Good film.
