Books have no calories and can't make you drunk.
Books can break the bank.I had to add at least one negative notion. For a change.

I’m shocked by how much I read from the first time I posted this topic (75 books) till now (90 books). Didn’t know That I read so much in such a short time span.

Ok, so my page count definitely isn't increasing with my Kindle books. Solution? I'm going to switch to a print edition. *shrugs* Hey, it'll work. I'm going to post my updated stats after 1 Jan.
I never use the eBook editions because they don't count the pages-which is really stupid.

Probably not as many. Some of those young adult books were very quick reads for me. I plan to read longer books next year, so my numbers will be lower.

4.)Were you shocked by how much you read or didn't read? Yes and no. I know I usually read over a 100, but I was surprised to see that I made it to 80. 2010 was a very busy year and I had a few reading slumps also.

Yes and No - No bc I know I read a lot but Yes bc until GR I've never put a # to the amount of books. So seeing the actual # was a little shocking but it also made me go "i can do better than that". I do believe GR has seriously contributed to my reading addiction and I feel I'm reading more now than I used to (if that's possible). But I wouldn't change a thing. I love this site and I feel without it I would almost be as lost as I'd be without a book, almost. :)
Brandi, sometimes when I look at my book ratings I don't know what the hell I was thinking. I try not to change them though.
I consider last year my freshman year here on GR so now that I"m a sophmore I've learned some things and now I'll be a little more picky with that 5 star status. :) I won't change any of my ratings either, for what ever reason I felt the book deserved it so it stays (unless I reread, then all is fair for changes)

Not sure on word count, but just the Passage alone was huge.
I read more this year then before, I think this site and keeping track, kept me reading. Loved learning so many things and meeting so many new characters.
