Haa haa haa....Charity.
Scott, I wish we had sunset worth watching here. When I lived in Florida it was almost a nightly ritual to sit on the beach by the pier and watch it sink into the ocean..... I miss those days.

Ha ha, you guys crack me up.Meanwhile over here it's 11.43AM - I hope there are still people around to post during my day :(
Its amazing to me, with the time differences... I keep forgetting that we are all spread out across the world. The computer makes everything too easy now a days.. doesnt it?
Surely does and sometimes it gets very lonely during the day here LOL but then of course there are heaps of posts to read in the morning!
Charity, that is such a strange question. Im totally jealous .. I wish I had thought to ask that :)
Wanna talk time zones? You're on the other side of the world! Malaysia's bright and sunny and.... er.. Malaysia's always bright and sunny hahaha
In the Klang Valley, yes, about 40 minutes away. Honestly, I'll only go into KL when necessary - even the new malls hold no attraction anymore..!Age, what can I say? :)
Well we mostly enjoyed time at China Town, just two visits there but why buy anywhere else?? The first day we walked around this huge shopping mall for hours and hours and by the end of the day we both weren't enjoying our holiday very much, so many turns we'd get lost and frustrated. I'm not into shopping that much so that part doesn't really hold much appeal to me. We went up to Genting to see a Cliff Richard concert, that was a great concert!!
I like to keep Mandy company:) It's currently 4:14 AM where I am and I'm still here....just finished A Dirty Job & I'm desperately trying to catch up on posts from this week (which, I have decided, will NEVER happen!)
Thanks, Katie :)Haven't seen your posts around here as often lately, you must be busy and my goodness, what are you doing awake at this ungodly hour???
Yes, busy is an understatement, but I've got two days in a row off, so I'm trying to get caught up on all I've missed! And I think I am a vampire...it's the only way I can think of to explain my sleep issues. And I'm pretty pale too (but that's just cause I'm Irish!) But I can't do blood....noooooo blood for me! I'm a vegan vampire....well, no, cause I don't eat veggies. I'm a pizza vampire, oh, no, I've got it....I'm a caffeine vampire....must have caffeine to sustain life! That is it!!!!!!
PS...just off the cuff...I miss you guys when I'm so busy that I can't come on here as much as usual. Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you (and when I can get my next GR fix) when I'm not able to get on:)
Well we miss you too :)I love when there are lots of posts but my goodness sometimes it is hard to keep up - although I'd rather it this way than no activity or very little activity.
awww. look at all the love while I was sleeping! You guys should have warned me to bring a tissue.... hee hee
I too get frustrated when Im away from the group for too long, the amount of posts you have to go through can be very daunting! But like Mandy said, better to be really active than slow and boring, right!

This site pretty much stays on my screen all day at work...haha. However, since I'm a Technical Administrator, it looks like I'm working reeeaalllyyy hard..haha.
Jesse, ditto about always having GR open while you are at work. I basically analyze data and have my own office where no one can see my computer so people walking by must think I'm always working hard!
haha...me too! I do event planning, excel spreadsheets, and TONS of email communication on Outlook so... staring at a computer screen is what people expect me to be doing when at my desk!
I hear you, Jessica..haha. I have a little office and no one can see what I'm really doing. I've had a thousand different jobs in my time, so I certainly realize this gig is pretty good..haha.
I, too, have a computer job. Sometimes I start to wonder how much more I would get done if I didn't spend 80% of my day on Goodreads and other sites, but then I realize that getting things done is overrated and I'm enjoying things here far too much. Besides, it's not like I'm losing reading time by being here.
"but then I realize that getting things done is overrated"I LOVE IT! That is hysterical, Logan! I started laughing out loud and my bosses (who are currently discussing UFOs) stopped talking to look at my oddly.
I too have a computer/desk job. Purchasing and setting up repairs on medical equipment. I can't imagine having to be away from GR all day for work and only being able to get on after work. Ugh.
Logan, you are my hero and you've given me my new mantra.
Logan, like Jesse, I think I'm going to make this my new mantra... along with one provided by my retiring boss earlier this week: A day without wine is a day without sunshine.May I quote you on my profile, Logan?
LOL, knock yourself out. I'm a big fan of your boss' quote too. I think that should be painted somewhere in our kitchen.
I know this is completely off point, but I had this as my previous Facebook profile quote: "My genius has come alive, like toys when you turn your back." I love it! Tracy Morgan, from 30 Rock.
It's funny but I never liked Tracy Morgan when he was on SNL but ever since he started on 30 Rock he has gotten funnier and funnier.
I'm not a fan of his really, but the line is great.
I finally got some reading in today, but I'll be on GR the rest of the day. It's my reward from doing my reward.
