Well, due to not having a lot of free time due to the holidays and with having a nephew on the way, trying to get a cross stitch picture done for the parents to be, didn't have a lot of time to read. Only got 2 and 1/2 done out of the projected 6 I wanted to read.

Thanks! Just trying to get the cross stitch pic done before he is born b/c his handprints are supposed to be stamped on it. Just started it last week and already almost 1/2 done with it. 2 weeks before he is due still.

That's some speedy cross stitching! What pic are you doing for him? I've been known to do clowns, rocking horses and names with ballet slippers. LOL.

Well, I've been working on it every spare minute that I have trying to get it done. The last one I did was a lap blanket and it took me a year to do! It's a 11"x14" with a border of different baby animals and the inside has a poem about handprints and your supposed to put the baby's handprints at the bottom under the poem. The mother was having problems with her blood pressure, so they had to induce her yesterday morning and she just had him last night.

That is just gorgeous Tiffany! It's deceptive, cause there's a lot of work involved, but if you weren't a cross stitcher you wouldn't realise how much.

Hope mum is OK and nephew also. Yay!!!!!! :D

I'm sure Aunty is frantically stitching. LOL.
