Sherrie (vampirekisses2) | 426 comments I saw that too...I hope what I picked will be ok. Thinking of Valentine's and Mardi Gras colors for February but we'll see.

Sherrie (vampirekisses2) | 426 comments I think I will see about having a poll starting with February and list a couple of ideas and we all can vote. The 2 most voted is what the themes will be.

These are true cozies and fun (what's not to like about people winning the lottery and usually losing it or using it to help lots of people)! I can't listen to MHC's other books on audio. Perhaps it's the reader but they put me to sleep and all sound the same.

Fantastic idea Sherrie!

Well that would be about the only thing there isn't a cozy series about. I can see it now, a nosy old maid in Scotland who only stops knitting to solve murders and push hot, steamy oats on unsuspecting policemen.

Jan (libraryhag) | 82 comments Oh, I guess I will ask this here. Is it OK to double dip on the challenges. Like if one of my WINTER challenge books or character books fits, can I use it in a monthly challenge.

Yes! I've done it before!

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) And I'm counting heavily on my books doing double duty in the upcoming yearly challenges - especially the A-Z ones. Some are doing triple duty! :)

I finished my friendship read
Christmas Cookie Murder a few days ago but I have been offline for the holiday. It was okay. I really like her writing style and characters however the villains were not very believable. I don't want to give away the plot so I will leave it at that.

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) I won't be finishing my December theme read, as the book I ordered for the spa/relaxation read didn't come before DH closed up shop for the holidays. (We get all our mail at the business) He doesn't reopen until Jan. 4th, so I'll have to concede defeat. :P
