The New Year signals a new beginning. Read the 1st book in a new-to-you series. No re-reads allowed. Books must be identified as first a series on GoodReads (Series Name, #1). Examples: Dead Until Dark, The Black Echo, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie

If you need suggestions OR have suggestions for books to read for this task, please post them here.

kiki (keekers) | 815 comments i'm curious to know what you think about reading The Magician's Nephew for this task. when the chronicles were first released, LionWitchWardrobe was considered the first in the series. after Lewis died, they re-ordered the books, and now Nephew is considered the first in the series. can i use it for this task? thanks for your help! :)

You can. When you click on the book, the series title comes up as (Chronicles of Narnia, #1)
