Finished Frostbite for Shadow Kiss last night. It was a guick read. Fast-paced and exciting, with enough intrigue to make me want to continue with the series. I give it 4 stars.
Haven't been able to read a whole lot since the kiddies went back to school. Hope I can at least finish this one challenge. :-)I'm going to read Graceling.
I'm reading (listening to) Vampire Academy - I'm about half way through. I wasn't really looking forward to reading another YA vamp novel, but it's better than I expected so far.
I've just finished Vampire Academy. This kept me entertained but the high school hijinks and bitchiness were too much for me to contemplate picking up the next book in the series. 3 stars.
I finished Graceling on 10.20.11. I thought it was fantastic - storyline was interesting, you had characters you loved and characters you hated, and there were no boring parts - 5 stars.
I just finished Graceling. LOVED it! Gave it 4 stars only because I felt cheated out of a HEA. No Po, no! Still a wonderful story with rich, likeable characters.
I finished Vampire Academy yesterday (23rd October). It was an ok read but not engrossing enough. I kept putting the book down. I *might* pick up the next book if I'm bored enough.
I finished Graceling after staying up until 3am this morning to finish it. :xI was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but ended up giving it 4. Despite some of the issues I had with it, I really enjoyed it and couldn't put it down. I'm definitely thinking about picking up the next book in the series.
I finished Graceling as well. I loved the story until the end I felt like it wasn't finished so I gave it 4 stars. I loved Po.
I finished reading Fallen for Torment last night. It was an okay read I rated it 4 stars, but It was more like a 3 stars, I gave it an extra star because I think the series have potential, and I'll definitely pick up the next book.

Vi - Winter's Passage 11/10
Ohh, so many choices already on my to-read list!I think I'll read Untamed for Hunted though, since I already have it and am reading it for another challenge.
I am going to read either Ship Breaker or Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25. I will probably end up reading which ever one comes in at the library first.
I just finished Hush, Hush. It was an entertaining read, I rated it 4 stars but It was more like a 3.5 stars.
I just finished Untamed for Hunted. Like the rest of the series, I gave it 2 stars, but it's really more of a 2.5-2.75 (I hate rounding up stars!).I enjoy this series for fast, entertaining reads... but I can't stand how obvious some of their messages are. When I read things like "My friends and I, along with anyone who's not narrow-minded and utterly judgmental, are cool with [the gay couple]" it feels very condescending.

:) I can't read this series for exactly the reasons of your selected sentence above! Urgh! Turns my stomach. Condescension, pettiness and double-standards abound.
I just finished reading The Iron Daughter today and love it. This one is perhaps my favorite YA series out there. It's definitely 5 stars for me.
I read
for
today. A short novella set between book #1 and #2. Of course, the interesting parts start at book #2.
I just finished Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25. I rated it 4 stars, but I don't think I will continue with the series. I am just not invested enough in the characters.
I finished Hush, Hush on 11.18.11. Not bad, not great - 3 stars. Not sure if I'll continue the series.
I was going to read an IAD Kresley Cole book but just wasn't in the mood, so I picked up Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency as an audiobook. What a mistake! This was a DNF for me and only the second audiobook for me to give up on. I made it to the halfway mark and just couldn't be bothered to continue with such an uninteresting story compounded by confusing ridiculous noises made throughout lackluster blither.
Frankly it was a disaster that only diehard fans could enjoy in my opinion.
So I guess I tried valiantly, but failed :(
I finally got around to re-reading this book Kiss of a Demon King which I totally hated the first go round and actually gave up around page 100. This caused me to stall on the IAD series since I couldn't get past this book. I liked it better this time but still didn't like Sabine though I did finally understand where her animosity was coming from. I liked the ending but was really glad this book was finished.

I am going to read Vampire Academy for Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead. All of my friends gave 5 stars to this book, I hope I will like it too. :)
Participating. Will read Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini.
Finished Vampire Academy today (for Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead). ☆☆☆☆I am not a big fan of young adult novels, but I must admit it is addictive read. :)
I finished The Sea of Monsters yesterday. Loved it - another great installment. I'll definitely continue with the series, after a little break.
I finished The Sea of Monsters today (26/12/11). Though there are similarities to the HP series, it's still a good installment in the series. I'll be picking up the next book.
Finished Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini [12/26/2011] *****.
I absolutely love this one. It kept me hooked on from the first page and I loved the mythology and references to Iliad, Troy and Ancient Greeks. The main characters were believable, strong and even though that Lucas/Helen relationship came out rough and wrong at first... well in the end you get that feeling of true love and the pain that comes along when you just have to stay away from someone. Can't wait for the release of next in the series!

I read Shadow Kiss and finished it on the 22nd. I gave it 4 stars for being a good addition to the series, but man, the author is totally breaking my heart in this series!
