I read on 7 dec. It was a fast read for me and I enjoyed it. The flashback setting was powerful and it made up for the weak mystery.

Very disappointed with this series. (especially since a lot of my friends gave it high rating) Zero world-building and a lot of plot holes. :/

I finished Lord of Darkness on New Year's Eve, and I thought it was a pretty good book. I really like this series. 5 stars

I finished and I loved it. 4 stars. It reminded how much liked her first 2 or 3 books. I'm making it a point to read her books.

I reread and then read on 1/10/16 both for . I really liked Tangled and it was a 4 star read for me, but Twisted was a disappointment. 3.25 stars

Random Book List #268

I just finished This Night So Dark by Amie Kaufman and gave it four stars! It's a quick little read that was a good refresher of what happened before book 1. I'm still on the fence about the series in general but will probably try to finish it this year.

I'm going to use this list as the reason to read since I've already read the next two books, with as my favorite (Go Charley Mouse and T-rex!!!). It is not common for me not to read a series in order, but I didn't like the blurb on this one and couldn't read it. I guess I just have to believe that if I like most Nalini Singh's books, I should like this one.

Random Book List #273

I finished reading Let's Pretend This Never Happened: A Mostly True Memoir by Jenny Lawson. Very funny book, I read her most recent book first and I think this one was better. She was such weird quirky stories and I've never read her blog so this was very entertaining!

I read and and really enjoyed them both. I liked how the author brought out the nuances of each couple: Thea and David with their memo's and Charlotte and Bishop with their emails.
Very cute! *4 STARS* each.

Heroine had dirty mouth and swore all the time. Characters were very extreme. They all seem like caricatures of real people...
Pucked didn't work out for me. I don't like books that think that humor = swearing and making fun of everything.

I read during the weekend. Although NA is not my fave genre and I don't usually read out of series, I enjoyed this one. Not completely without fault, but the prose was highly readable, with very likeable characters.

I will definitely check out the other books in this series. 4 stars.

It was pretty over-the-top and unrealistic, but I liked it anyway! Something about insta-love, possesive hero when done right, makes me smile. 3.5*
