I'm currently reading Paris' book and I'm having a hard time staying interested in it. I guess it hurt more that I read Shards of Hope (Psy-Changeling, #14) by Nalini Singh in between. It just made me lose interest in this book, but I'll try to find the will to finish it for this challenge. : )

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Finished Dead Heat (Alpha & Omega, #4) by Patricia Briggs last June 1, and I continue to love Charles and Anna. 5 stars.

Also finished The Darkest Seduction (Lords of the Underworld, #9) by Gena Showalter today, which unfortunately, took me a long time to read. For some strange reason, I couldn't connect with Paris and Sienna. 3 stars.

It was a decent read not as good as the series 1-3. I like how the author makes the characters flawed, which helps you associate. The story is interesting enough, you would think once the castes were abolished the society would be happy but turns out people are not happy with anything for long. It will be interesting to see how Eadylyn will mature as a character and perhaps fall in love?

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The approach was a little bit different than your typical historical romance and it worked quite fine. 4 stars.
