Random Book List #178

I finished reading Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor. I think the only thing that classifies this book as a Young Adult Genre is that the main character is a teenager. Other than that, this book reads like an adult novel to me. This is a re-read from 2 years ago and I don't think I really paid attention the first time I read it. I had pretty much forgotten what the book was about, but this was a really great read, er re-read! The characters and setting were really detailed and the story was good.

I finished reading Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. I gave it 5 stars because it was awesome! I had to reread the manga version of book 1 before I started this one! Plus it's been forever since I've read the parallel series to this one so I have a lot to catch up on. This is one of the best love triangle's that I've read in a long time! These book have so much detail and depth that I loved every minute of it! Definitely worth buying the manga version for review :)

Finished last night. Overall, it was a satisfying read, although there were several times that I feel irritated with the many different POVs. I still like reading Ward's books but I miss the straightforwardness of the first five books of this series.

List #193 (8.5.14):

I finished , and it was sad but sweet and hopeful. I really hope that at some point we can get an epilogue to the story because there was so much unfinished there, and I really want to see ore of this couple.

This is the first time I've read anything by this author and I will look into reading more of her stuff. *4.5 STARS*

I finished for on 26 July . I continued the series in audio after taking a long break from due to Harry niggles I had. James Marsters' narration is just awesome. He almost becomes Harry. I can't imagine doing it other than audio now.

I just read The Dreams You Made in the Dirt. I felt disconnected from the characters, but enjoyed the story anyway. Could be the environment I was reading in, I felt like I couldn't really immerse myself in it the way I usually do.

I finished and gave it 5 stars! Every book just gets better and better, I have no idea what I'm going to do when I finish this series! I'm so glad to be back with the Carpenters in this book, I really wanted to know more about them because I'm a sucker for big families. Without giving anything away, I want to see more about Charity in the series! I think she is a really interesting character.

I finished on 8.13.14. I didn't even mean to, but I got sucked in. I thought it was good even though the heroine pissed me off with her snobbery. The hero was absolutely delectable. I liked it so much, I'm about to start on book two! Anyway, I gave it *4 STARS*

Finished yesterday.

Didn't plan to read it, but took a peek at the first few pages and couldn't stop reading. Enjoyed the 'text exchanges' between the two characters. Prose is a little too wordy, and the two main characters have too much of a 'woe-is-me' complex, but overall, I wasn't able to put it down and finished it quite quickly. 4 stars.
