instead of
since I have already read Ian's book (which was SO freaking good!)
I read
instead of
by Susan Mallery, 2/7/2013, 3*It was a sweet (but predictable), Christmas-based story.
read
2/17, ★★★didn't love it as much as the first one of the series. felt like the heroine was shorting herself for much of the book.

3-6-13, 4.5 starsThis was a fun read. I enjoy Charley's humor and usually laugh quite a bit at of her comments.
I finished Second Grave on the Left last March 21. I enjoyed it a lot, but I didn't like what Charley did in the last part. So that sort of ruined the book for me. 4 stars instead of 5.
"Random Book List #123I finished A Red Herring Without Mustard by Alan Bradley and it was really good. I've enjoyed these books a lot even though they have a lot of detail to them! I'm listening to them right now but in the future, I'd like to actually sit down and read them. Very cute mysteries! 5 stars!

for
(book #1 in series by Abbi Glines) is currently Kindle freebie at Amazon. If anyone is interested. ;)
I finished
on 4/16 which is part of the Mercedes Thompson series (Iron Kissed). I thought it was really good and IMHO was like the earlier books rather than the later ones.
Ok. I finished
on 4/23. ★★★★It wasn't as good as book 1, but it was still really good. Julie K is a master story teller and I was riveted in this book. In this book, it was the Jackal show. I couldn't decide if I liked him or hated him, but he was hilarious. In the end, I am kinda liking him, but I still have to watch him because he is just too snake-ish.
I also read
for
. It was a 3-star read. Lots of action but slow in the romance department. I need Jane to have a more consistent love story. I heard book 3 Mercy Blade has more love
"Random Book List #128I read
for
. I loved it! I like that this series keeps evolving and keeps adding new things and characters. I gave it 5 stars!
Hi Yz-I just want to make sure you saw my post above and mark me down as having read The Bet. Thank you!
I read
for
by Kim Harrison and it wasn't as good as the previous one. Trent Kalamack was absent and I found Rachel annoying in several occasions (3 stars)

Thanks for pointing it out. I missed it somehow. : )

Hi Ty!No one actually read Iron Kissed or Ever After, only different books in the series. They don't count if no one read the original listed title. If someone had read Iron Kissed or Ever After one of those would have beat The Eternity Cure and The Bet.
Unless no one reads any in the list, I'm thinking that then the other books in the series would also be taken into consideration.
Ah. I thought other books in a series counted regardless if the listed book is read or not, as I've seen stated through various posts (that I even made). Oh well, now I know!
They count if there is a tie, then the book with the most titles listed underneath it wins. But....if no one actually read the listed one and another listed one was read, then that beats a book not read but with lots of others in the series read.I may not be explaining this very well, I'm sorry!

I'm just gonna adjust my participation in more of a "wait and see" thing as I used these random challenges to cut down my series TBRs. Goodness knows I have too many challenges going anyways.... ha.
Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron wrote: "Reading
for
by Jennifer L. Armentrout"Finished Opal. It's a 3.5 star read. It's interesting and engaging but the characters still lack some development to me. We still get the runaround about the bad guys. It's very YA, but I'll still, read book 4
