Elizabeth just let me know that Past the Shallows has been longlisted for the Miles Franklin....isn't that fabulous!

Oh wow that's fantastic. It's an amazing book.

If you like Past the Shallows Brenda, you should read a book called Blood by another Aussie author Tony Birch....they are very similar but Blood is a little more gripping towards the end.
