Dang it! I just read
(Done 12/16) ★★★. Can you back date the list a week, LOL!
I will figure out what I will read later
I want to read
but can't get my hands on it without buying it and my book budget is at $0 due to the holidays ;)So...I will read
for
finished up Incandescent - it was ok, but (as weird as it is for me to say this) - too much smexy, not enough story - 2.5 stars, rounding up to 3 for me
I finished
on 1/10/15 and I thought it was a great addition to the series. I gave it *4 STARS*, and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next with Beckitt Murdaugh.
I'm going to read Reasonable Doubt: Volume 1
for this list.
, with all 3 parts, just went on sale at Amazon for .99.
I finished Reasonable Doubt: Volume 1
1/13. This was an entertaining novella, I did like it, but I kept having the feeling that I've read something so similar before. Nothing unique or new here, but it held my interest.
I already read
. Such a fun book. The 2nd book is great also. J. Daniels is releasing Sweet Obsession later this year featuring another character from this series. Anyway... I read
since Amazon has all 3 books on sale for 99 cents. :) I thought it was surprisingly addictive and laugh-out-loud funny. The love scenes were scorching hot!
I finished reading
and surprisingly gave it 4 stars. I have not liked this series in a very long time but this book wasn't half bad. It was more action and mystery and the succubus thing was not drawn out and over killed as it has been in the past. I might try the next one...maybe...
I finished Reasonable Doubt: Volume 2 and Reasonable Doubt: Volume 3 as well as Reasonable Doubt: Volume 1. I agree with Angela, it ended up being fun and sexy.
I finished
in place of
. I'm not a huge fan of the first person narrative and changing POVs. It made the writing seem a bit juvenile like I read it on some fanfiction site, but it was a decent book with an okay story line. The male MC being deaf was also a nice change from the norm.
Read
last Christmas. Not as good as the earlier books, but it was enough to keep my attention. 4 stars. Also read
last Dec. 28. Beautiful prose, lots of intense emotions. 4 stars.
Still reading Narcissus in Chains. I was sick this week and it was easier to read other things on the kindle than this chunky paperback ;)

Suzanne - Opal 2/12 *****
Yz - Opal 2/7 ****
Till Death by Alessandra Torre
Talking Dirty by Cheryl McIntyre
Just finished
. Not sure how I feel about it. I'm waffling between 2 stars and 3 stars. It was a fast read, but I just didn't connect to the characters at all. I found myself rolling my eyes at the dialogue and just didn't really enjoy the story much. I guess that lands it in the 2 star rating of "it was okay."I'm also left wondering if I would have enjoyed this more if I hadn't read it after just finishing The Law of Moses. Obisidian was a "rebound" read after a 5 star book and it had a hard act to follow!
I finished reading
and really liked it. This series is getting better and better with every book. Five stars!
I finished
last Feb 7. I think this is one series where it gets better with every installment. 4 series.I also finished
last Feb. 10. First time reading this author and definitely it will not be the last. 5 stars

Finished
on 12th March4 stars
A study of psychology of human nature in post-apocalyptic environment. had much more literal flare than my usual books. But I liked it. And it was a page-turner full of tension.
Reminded me of mix of Gerald's Game and Never Let Me Go.
finished
for
. 4*the series gets better and better. Loving the development and deepening of Ty & Zane's relationship.
Random Book List Challenge #227I finished reading Cut & Run by Abigail Roux and REALLY LIKED IT! It was funny and exciting and I'm so glad I splurged and got it from Audible! I will definately be reading the next one in the series!

I read the last one
. I can't believe she ended this ride.I will do a re-read of these series as I loved them. I am sad, I will go drink some wine and reminisce
I read
for this list. Finished it last March 24 and gave it 4 stars. I thought it was a bit too long with too many superfluous parts but, despite its faults, it was able to keep my attention.

The Dead Run by Adam Mansbach
The Deep by Nick Cutter
sigh. this list... Is there any way we can revamp the rules to let all books in a series count even without reading the actual listed book? We had 3 for Ty & Zane.
Yeah...this is a hard list for me...since suspense and horror are not really my thing.Hmm... I might have to go with either
or
because I've seen the movie versions and I've enjoyed them.
I read 'Warm Bodies' and I can tell you if you ignore a bit of gruesome descriptions of brain-eating it's just a post-apocalyptic romance story. Actually it's a retelling of Romeo and Juliet where R(omeo) is a zombie.I might read something from 'The Maze Runner' series if I manage to catch up with other lists...
Dragana wrote: "I read 'Warm Bodies' and I can tell you if you ignore a bit of gruesome descriptions of brain-eating it's just a post-apocalyptic romance story. see bugs and spiders don't gross me out. But the description of his eating the brain (on audio) was more than I could handle.
ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) wrote: "Were there any crunching or smooshy eating sounds to accompany the description?? Ew!"I think he made a slurping sound at one point.
Which is why I stay away from Zombie books. The brain eating part is just too icky for me to handle.
Vi wrote: "Which is why I stay away from Zombie books. The brain eating part is just too icky for me to handle."I think my mistake was LISTENING to it. Well, no, I don't like zombies although I did like the Razorland series by Ann Aguirre
I do love zombie books, but I had to stop the
series at the first book because of all the extremely detailed brain eating escapades...
The only zombie series I've read and loved is this series by Mira Grant starting with
and only because they are the setting and not the Main Character. Like Kim, I'm also going to be reading
