RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I'm curious about showers today. How long is your average shower?

message 2: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Ten minutes.

message 3: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I need to know, by the way, so I can time my entry into your living spaces and go through all your stuff while you're showering.

message 4: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Makes sense.

message 5: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments 10 minutes, but I may ask to to hand me some soap unless you are very quiet.

message 6: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments After Jim's comments on porn showers...er...somebody else hand him the soap, please.

message 7: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 4034 comments I always think I can bang it out in 15 minutes but I can't. It's more like 25-30. I love showers.

message 8: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Bang it out. Smetchie said bang it out.

message 9: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments I caught that too Larry, and she showers alone!

I hate showers. I'm in and out within five minutes.

Baths, on the other hand. I could stay in there for three hours if there were only enough hot water.

message 12: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments again my bath tip - you have to have a water faucet handle you can operate with your foot

message 13: by ms.petra (new)

ms.petra (mspetra) I am seeing a trend among our moderators involving the bathtub.

message 14: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments I seriously can not remember the last time I took a bath, it has to be close to 20 years ago.

message 15: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Once every 20 years whether you need it or not?

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
RA might just be the only one with candles involved in bathtime I dare say.

message 27: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments yeah, wonder if his wife is like "what the *$%! is going on in there?"

hehehe. I imagine he has lots of scented paper flowers he floats all about him too. And a lavender head pillow.

message 29: by ms.petra (new)

ms.petra (mspetra) as long as you guys don't show up in a Cialis commercial the bubble baths are fine...

message 30: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Candles are sometimes problematic. They're not bright enough to read by and if you want the full candle effect you have to get out of the water and turn off the light.

Um, at least that's what I heard.

message 31: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i use a light brite. you can be appropriately creative while in the tub and still have enough light to read by. just use a GFCI receptacle as the EMT's will def YouTube the whole set-up if you get electrocuted

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments You know what sucks? When I'm in my bath happy place and one of my sons knocks on the door and says he has to go to the bathroom. I send him to the downstairs bathroom. No way am I letting some big hairy kid dump ruin my serenity.

Hey pervs! I didn't say bang ONE out! Or rub one out. How's it go?

I just folded two loads of laundry while on the phone and then misplaced the laundry basket! How do you misplace a LAUNDRY BASKET! It's a townhouse, not a mansion! WTF?

message 41: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments You must have been misreading us Smetchie :-).

message 42: by Brittomart (new)

message 45: by Jaimie (new)

Jaimie (jaimie476) | 664 comments I hate baths. Gross! My hub says my showers are too long, about 25 minutes or so. I try to go faster but I just can't.

Michael Jackson's chimp?

message 47: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments i can take a shower in six minutes, including getting dressed, but i almost never do. i think my showers take between 15 and 40 minutes, depending on what i'm doing in the shower.

RA; the easiest way to enter my house in case you plan to rob me is to go through the downstairs neighbour's garden and climb onto my balcony, then smash the window of the door to the kitchen and turn the key that's always in the door.

message 48: by Gatorman (new)

Gatorman 10 minutes if I don't have to shave, 15 if I do.

message 49: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I wonder if Gretchen found the laundry basket. I know where mine is...on the floor in the living room, where it's been waiting with unfolded clothes since Wednesday. I'll, uh, get on that today.

message 50: by smetchie (last edited Nov 06, 2010 08:55AM) (new)

smetchie | 4034 comments I must admit that the laundry basket was in the laundry room.
