There is, of course, disagreement about whether any part of this place influenced Wodehouse when writing about Blandings. And you only get 1/5 of the castle (granted it is the largest fifth). And if you are in the U.S.A the exchange rate hurts. But other than all that, a topping place to call home, what?

Does it come with Beach or the horribly efficient Baxter?

Sunset at Blandings has some speculation about the inspiriation for Blandings in the appendix. I'll have to see if this place is mentioned when I get home and can consult the archives.

Ron (ronh) | 4 comments Baxter did show up now and then after being sacked, so it IS possible!

I forgot about the info in Sunset at Blandings. Dan, I'm running to the shelf right so hurry home.
