Sandy | 202 comments Thanks, everyone.

The thing I love about this challenge is it really pushes me to read different types of books, not just stick to my favorite genres - the combination of this and the Seasonal Reading Challenge has really broadened the scope of my reading.

Handy to have a vacation scheduled in the last few days of this challenge, I was able to get a few more books and shelves in. Here's my final tally:

One of this final batch was 784 pages and by a GR author so I crossed off five more shelves:

message 335: by Adrienne (new)

Adrienne Teague (ateague) | 409 comments Does anyone know how to create this game? I know it's the top 350 shelves on FB minus proper nouns, but I don't know how to find that out. Angela's gotten so busy lately, I don't think she's going to be able to continue.

message 336: by Lahni (new)

Lahni I think proper nouns count because we have had things like Indonesia. We don't use read, currently-reading and to-read. Then I think it is the top 350 shelves which can be found here. Then you need to figure out which shelves have been changed from last time. At least that is how I understand it.

message 337: by Adrienne (new)

Adrienne Teague (ateague) | 409 comments Okay. I've figured out how to do it, but it's going to take some time to get the list out. Good thing I'm snowed in. If you're up for doing it again, I'll get a list going.

Is someone here capable of putting a google spreadsheet together? That would be beyond awesome.

message 338: by Adrienne (new)

Adrienne Teague (ateague) | 409 comments Thanks, Lahni, for the reminder on the proper names. I was thinking of peoples' names.

message 339: by SandyC (new)

SandyC (sandyc88) | 173 comments I can create a Google spreadsheet. Does it just need to have the list of shelves? If you put the list on this thread, I can copy and paste it into the spreadsheet and share with anyone who sends their email address.

If the spreadsheet needs more info, I can add it in. Just let me know!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you don't use any of the author/character proper names (Harry, Potter, Rowling, etc.)
