Right this hot second? I am reading Whiplash by Catherine Coulter. I got it from SSDL and it needs to be returned soon. I am not sure that I am getting into it that much...I should return it and find something that captures my interest more.As for favorites, it depends on my mood. :)
My favorite book is Simplicity Lessons by Linda Breen Pierce. I will probobly re read it by the pool this summer.
I am reading Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver. I am intrigued by the fictional narrative of a young mother and the plight of the monarch butterflies. My daughter's work is climate adaptation, and I will definitely pass this book on to her. I am enjoying this read greatly-perfect for summer.
I'm reading Lost Girls: Sex and Death in Renaissance Florence by Nicholas Terpstra, published by Johns Hopkins press. For a history book, this is an excellent read and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in Renaissance Florence or Women's History.
