I need help remembering the title of a book I read.

The name of the book is "Winterflight" by Joseph Bayly. What is so increadible about this book is that it was written in 1981, long before partial-birth abortions and physician-assisted suicide were in practice.
While the original book is out of print, I was excited to find a 25th anniversary edition on Amazon (click here). I can't wait to get a copy and read it again. Unfortunately, it isn't available for Kindle.
Winterflight: A Novel
The genre was Christian fiction. I think the title was just one word. The story was set in the future and centers around a doctor whose son has hemophilia. He has managed to hide his son's condition because if the government finds out, the child will be executed. That's because all babies with medical defects are euthanized. In this same family, the grandfather has reached the age where he must be euthanized because society has decided that it is better to kill the elderly than care for them in nursing homes.
I can give additional details, but I don't want to ruin the end of the book for those who haven't read it. Anyone remember the name of the book or the author?
