Random Book List #341 (ends June 25)
I think I am going to read
(for Worth It All by Claudia Connor), based on Ezi's rec. I like the fact that heroine has 4 kids. So refreshing!
Re Claudia Connor's McKinney BrothersYes. Please read book 1 first
. It's not that you wouldn't get the gist of what's going on but some of characters from book 1 pop up.So I'd read book 1 first.
My book club read We were Liars. If you like suspense-mystery etc, then you'd like it. I can't say I liked it but it was a 3-star

I guess i should, but if I can't get hold of Book 1 and 2, I'm going to read Book 3. : )
Read
(for Worth It All by Claudia Connor) on 26. May 3.5 starsLiked that it had mature characters, MC that is a mom, cute kids and slow building romance.
I found very unlikely that pregnant woman with 4 kids would attract interest from so many men and how many opportunities they found to have sex with 4 kids around.
Still, a sweet love story worth reading. Thanks for the rec Ezi. :)
Random Book List #291I read One Plus One by Jojo Moyes and loved it! I liked the story line and the main heroine. It took a bit to get into it because you just feel sorry for the characters before you get to know them. I gave it 5 stars!
I read
for this list even though I haven't read the previous book. I thought it was a very enjoyable read, although the hero is just a little bit too perfect. :) 4 stars

Oooh! The Rosie Project is awesome! I'm tempted to re-read that one!
I'm going to read
for
. Although after reading the comments, I'm going to see if I can get my hand on
.
Random Book List #296I finished reading The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion and gave it 4 stars. I loved the first book so I was excited that there was a sequel. It was still cute and quirky, but it wasn't as good as the first one. However, it was still really enjoyable!
I read
for
. It was an ok read. It didn't completely involve me and the so called conflicts wasn't really built-up. I give it 2 stars. Not that invested in continuing the series to be honest.
I read
for this list last July 7. The book has all the elements of a good romance, but the writing just didn't do it for me. 3 stars.

Darn, I missed the deadline again! I read
for #296 and liked it much better than the first in the series. I'll definitely be continuing.Steal Me by Lauren Layne - 8/1/16 ♥♥♥♥

It's okay, but looks like you found a good series to read. :)

I like Lauren Layne and always look for her books. The first in this series was disappointing, but now things are picking up.
I finished
in lieu of
3.5 stars. It wasn't as funny as book 1 but was better than the last couple of installments in this series.
I know I'm weird but I don't care for Dick. He and Jane made an appearance in this one
Update: I did however rereadStars of Fortune which is book #1 in preparation for reading Bay of Sighs which I will start today. I listened to the audio this time which I really enjoyed - the narrator was Saskia Maarleveld. She did the male voices tolerably well. A good start to a trilogy a typical Nora Roberts 5 stars
Read
for this list and finished it last August 9. I thought it was just okay. Typical New Adult romance. 4 stars

The Story Guy by Mary Ann Rivers
I finished up my book this weekend:Wrong Number, Right Guy by Elle Casey - 10/1/16 ♥♥♥♥
Very light, funny, and entertaining. I will definitely continue with this series.
I read #5 Magic Slays for #6.5 Magic Steals. This series continues to excel for me. It took several books for the series to evolve, lots of world building in the first few books, but now that is out of the way, the character development is almost secondary to the plots, which are fairly typical, our heroine saves the day in the nick of time. Secondary characters are becoming old friends. 5 stars.

Two By Two by Nicholas Sparks (1)Kim - 11/6 ***1/2
Breaking Up with Barrett by Katy Regnery (1)Poongothai - 11/1 ***
Leave a Mark by Stephanie Fournet
Secret Life by Bria Quinlan
I read Curran, Vol. IIt is 28 pages and a series of scenes, spread over the first four Kate Daniels novels. That didn't worry me I knew that before starting.
Several things disappointed me. There was no flow within the scenes themselves, spelling errors, missing words from sentences, basic grammatical errors continually pulling me out of the scenes.
This is attributed to Gordon Andrews, part of the duo that writes the brilliant Kate Daniels series. From this sample I would conclude that Ilona Andrews does the majority of the writing.

Random Book List #311I finished reading Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire and gave it 4 stars. It was very similar to Vampire Academy and similar books. It was kind of slow to start and quirky but I enjoyed it.
