The book is quite disturbing and upsetting...the writing is very abstract yet keeps you turning pages.

it is so hard for me to find the Dark prince, anywhere for less than 13 I've even seen it going for over 100, I'm like OMG! But I will keep looking.

Do you mean pricewise? Have you tried www.bookdepository.co.uk?

yes pricewise...no I really haven't tried there, my mom had ordered from them last year for books for me for christmas and she was lucky to get them right before christmas and she had ordered them at the beginning of the month. So I haven't looked at them because we didn't really have a good track record with them.

I felt the same way about Hunger Games. I got an even bigger WOW when I finished Catching Fire.

Yes. There is a novella in the anthology, On the Prowl (Alpha and Omega:Briggs) (Inhuman:Wilks) (Buying Trouble:Chance).

they're not always great with quick deliveries (it's touch and go, lol), but their prices are good:-)

nope not that much is mention about the mercy books to make a big difference on this book, but I would recommend reading that novella, and you'll be like "OHHHHH OKAY" lol

yeah well I will give it a look see. thanks.

Currently reading Secondhand Spirits

I'm still reading

No. But I will look into it. I'm starting to think I need another game plan. More like I need more hrs in the day. Lol

Is this ur first time reading her series?

Hope you like the last of the Tairen Soul series:-) I definitely want to read any spin-offs:-)
I'm currently reading

Is this ur first time reading her series?"
Well I've started from the beginning on both but yes this is my first time reading them, no re-reads for me as of yet on any books I own or have read.

Here in Geneva we were also pretty much raised on the Holocaust - we got visits with Holocaust survivors in elementary, junior high and high school, and read a lot of literature centered around it: Anne Frank, The Reader,.. Not to mention visiting the camps and prisons in Germany..
What I loved about this book was how different it was from the majority of that literature - I didn't feel like it was trying to justify the German's inaction - more that it centered around a small family and characters that in their own way rebelled against the Nazi regime - maybe not enough according to you or me, but I loved the way Liesel (slowly maybe) realizes that what she's taught by the Nazis is criminal - especially at that last Jew march through the streets.. I don't know, I have a lot of conflicted feelings left over, but I definitely loved this book, and thought that the writing, although a little weird for my tastes, was perfect for the story..

It was like when I was reading Mao's Last Dancer - its really good to see how Cunxin goes from believing in Mao's communist regime because that is how he is raised, to the United States and seeing how his government lied to him, etc

Hmm I have that book.. Is it good? I'll have to read it!
