Check out Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series. It's in my top five favorites (with LOTU & BDB)
The first book has exactly what you're looking for, and I'm sure you'll be hooked on the series from there. ... Actually a character in that series shows up in LOTU for a second (the keeper of Disease sees her walking through town)

Also, Shayla Black's Doomsday Brethren series.. the first book in that one has that same kind of male character you're seeking.

I haven't done much reading this summer I'm sad to say... when I have, I have been only reading random stand alone books. I am still on the hunt for the mighty "series" I know it's out there lol

If you have some you'd like to suggest I'm into the hero being a super jerk, I love that! I'm pretty open tho whatever theme, as long as its paranormal and definatley romance! Although I have read some incredible contemp books!

As for a series for you have you read the Monere: Children of the Moon Series!? It's paranormal erotica, focused more on Demons though.

There are about 5 books with 2 anthologies!

After that series there is Which is about a different character in the series above.. LOVED this one... only two books atm

You may have already read these, but Jericho Barrons has to be my all time favorite dark hero. Check out KMM's Fever series. Bloodfever. Another one is Chloe Neill Chicagoland Vamps, Twice Bitten, another HOT! romance between a strong heroine and dark hero. On the darker side, ACRO SERIES by Sydney Croft may be just what the Dr. ordered, Riding the Storm. Happy reading!

Dont know if you have read it yet but is soooo good! Total A**hole. Its the best book in this series so far. The Immortals After Dark series is one of my favs and this is book 12 but it can be read as a single book. Lothaire is a totally lovable A**hole. :)
