Jess | 3721 comments I read this book awhile ago and I liked it. I thought it was different enough to be interesting. I did get a little annoyed with the change of narration when Jane shifted, but other than that it was great.

I also loved her nicknames for people. That was amusing.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 3123 comments I read this one a while ago too, but loved it. Jane was so much fun. And like you Jess, I loved her nicknaming of people. I also liked the relationship Jane had with her beast. It was like there were 2 of her in one body.

message 4: by Irene (new)

Irene Hollimon | 130 comments I just finished it. I loved it. I had read Stormwalker (Stormwalker, #1) by Allyson James first and I initially wasn't attracted to this one. Big surprise. I ended up liking this one even better.

Jess | 3721 comments Anyone else get to this one yet?

message 6: by Kira (new)

Kira (KiraRiyu) | 7 comments I read this one when it first came out. I remember enjoying it, and I picked up the sequel, but have not yet read Blood Cross, so I guess Skinwalker wasn't a must read more kind of book for me.

message 7: by Dawn, Desperately seeking new worlds (new)

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I read skinwalker rather recently and I meant to order the second book but honestly I forgot about it.

Anyway I did like the book but at times the Jane Beast relationship got a little old. I think it was all the description at times it felt like right right I get it already you know what I mean?

Another thing I liked was that she did not end up with any of the guys, none of them had enough of a wow factor so I was glad she did not write one in for the sake of writing him in.

message 8: by Narnies (new)

Narnies I just finished it last night! And I was so happy with it that I ran down to the library this morning and got out the next book :)

I think I was more surprised because I initially thought the book was going to be kinda bad, I didn't overly enjoy Hunter's seraph series and combined with the cover of the book (yes, I'm one of those people unfortunately!!) I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised though, I did get a bit put off with her Beast talk but once I was into the book it was okay. I like her attitude and that she admits that she's scared, and like everyone else, I love her nicknames ^_^

I'm also Team Leo, I'm not so sure that's the winning team but Ima hopin!

message 9: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. Ariana - the same thing happened to me. I started the book and thought it was pretty boring but I kept plowing because its BOM in this group and another. I'm so glad I did. I like Leo more than Joe, but Leo seems like he's going to try to hurt Jane bad, so I'm biting my nails. Ordered book #2 from the library about 1/2 an hour ago.

message 10: by Narnies (new)

Narnies I hope you enjoy it ^_^ I finished it last week and now I'm waiting for Hunter to finish the 3rd book, lol. Ahhhh the curse of the avid reader, always doomed to wait.

message 11: by Anna (new)

Anna (aknas22) | 349 comments I read the first book when it came out but haven't read the others. I liked the nicknames and the vamp system. I'm planning on reading the second one soon, possibly when the third comes out.
