I'd totally get my mind swiped to reread ____ for the 1st time again...

It's funny you posted this because earlier this week my son was saying that he would love to have his memory of his favorite book series swiped so that he could read it again. :)

um.

There are so many more.
And for some reason, I feel like rereading the Hunger Games again

Twilight (I know.. but I did like the 1st book)
City of Bones series by Cassandra Clare
The Immortal Secrets of Nicholas Flamel Series by Michael Scott
Oh, The House of Night Series by PC Cast - I just want it erased out of my memory.

Also Ender's Game of course, and all the other Ender books; they packed such a punch when I first discovered them..still do, actually, but novelty has its own kind of excitement :)
Ditto for The Dark Is Rising Sequence and Tamora Pierce's Alanna books! Very fond memories and many happy reread seshes.
The feeling of a particularly awesome book-discovery is definitely one of my favourite things. Ever. :D

I read them for the first time when I was 12 & I was amazed. Although I've reread them-& cried like a wuss while reading them- numerous times since then, I'd love to rediscover the magic I felt the first go round.

Actually, I discovered Harry Potter with the third book (how stupid is that, to make you study a series in the middle of it ?) and I loved it so much I had to buy the others. They were the biggest books I'd ever read. I was eight or nine, I think. I'll never forget the day I waited in the shop guarding the last Goblet of Fire on the shelf for my mother to come back with the right amount of money, LOL.
I'd like to rediscover Twilight without the crazy fandom too, like in the beginning. Sigh.

The other series I'd love to discover for a first time is

Looks like we've got pretty similar book-taste Becca, I'll have to check out these Juliet Marillier ones :)

Though now I really want to read the choices of everyone else that I haven't read yet (or finish the series that I've started)!

(new)

Harry Potter Series
Hunger Games Series
Finnikin of the Rock
Lord of the Rings (This time I'd read the books before watching the movies)
The Phantom of the Opera
Les Miserables
Great Expectations
Chronicles of Narnia
1984
A Clockwork Orange
Graceling and Fire
Jane Eyre
Wuthering Heights
The Book Thief
Bridget Jones Diary & The Edge of Reason
Okay... enough for now! I re-read a lot of these anyway, but to not know the ending made it fab!

Harry Potter series..
I'm currently re-reading the series for the second time.. :)

The Hunger Games Trilogy
Twilight (sorry - I devoured those books.. was fun to read)
The Vampire Diaries (again read in highschool.. they rocked) - just the original set though.
Grimspace (Sirantha Jax) Series
.....
will keep thinking of more...

I also loved Remember Me by Christopher Pike. This was another of my favorites from when I was a kid.

Yay! Another Christopher Pike fan!

I totally devoured all Christopher Pike books in the early 90ties.. Remember Me was insanely awesome!

City of Bones
Thirteen Reasons Why
Succubus Blues is a wonderful series (Probably my all time favorite). It's not YA but I just couldn't leave it out.

Yay! Another Christopher Pike fan!"
NO. Remember Me is one I'd have my mind swiped for another reason - to rid myself of the hatred I feel for the book. Gr. It was a waste of my time reading that trilogy.

I have to add Jellicoe Road to my list.
That makes my list go like this, in order,

Oh my GOSH. It's my favorite book of all time. I could read it over & over again!

I'll have to move it up. I have to read it before the Rainbow Challenge is over, it's my Green book.

What books makes you want to get your memory erased so that you can reread them again for the first time all over once more? >_<
