which book in the series...?

I'm trying to remember which book in the series has Stephanie getting kidnapped and locked in a cabin? I can't remember who the bad guy is or any of the rest of the story, I just remember that Morelli and Ranger had to work together to rescue her. Can anyone help?

I'm getting titles mixed up but she has been kidnapped a few times.....

Fearless 14 and Plum Spooky come to mind cause I think they had the monkeys in them....

I remember the scene but off the top of my head can't remember which book that was in.

I think it was 12 sharp. She came up against a guy similar but smarter than Ramirez (one for the money) - into military history. One of her mother's neighbours daughter went missing with her child. she was employed to find her as there was a bond involved and if the woan didn't show up - the neighbour's house would be reposessed. -

Jen, the cabin scene (i agree with magpie67) was Plum Spooky.

wait, brainfart. kb & jen, there was a scene at the end of hard eight where eddie abruzzi attempts to torture steph, but her sister rescues her by crashing the van into the cabin.

also, there was a situation in 12 sharp (the one where the guy steals rangers identity) where steph is kidnapped, ranger & morelli work through the night to find her, but she ends up essentially getting herself freed. (but this was not a cabin, it was an old camper or mobile home.

jen, so alas, there are multiple times this kind of situation happened, do you remember any more about the situation?!

I think the scene I'm thinking of is in 12 Sharp. It sounds the closest to what I'm remembering. I guess I'll have to read it and see. (I haven't read Plum Spooky, so I know that's not it.)

jen, 8-12 are my favorites! 12 is the one we learn the most about ranger (his daughter was also kidnapped) and has the sweet ending where after he got shot by the guy, steph takes ranger birthday cake at his apt. well worth another read. i have read the entire series multiple times!

Wasn't there a scene in Book 11 where Stiva kidnaps Stephanie and stows her in a cabinet in some house he owns and Ranger (sigh) comes to the rescue?
