Wrong Edition

I added the wrong edition to my shelf. how can I either swap the edition (just click on other edition does not help) or get rid of the worng one to add the right one

Go to this view of all the editions of the book you wish to change. Under each "add to my books" button there should be a link that says "switch to this edition".

You go to the book page, click on the other editions link on the right.
A page with all editions will load. Each edition should have a green switch to this edition link on the right.
