SOLVED. romance fantasy/sci-fi [s]

The book I am trying to remember is a romance fantasy book. I can't remember the names of the characters. It is about this woman who is really tall and works in construction. She has red hair. This man from another plants comes to Earth to hunt this evil guy. While there he meets the woman and falls for her. After he gets the bad guy, he brings the woman back to his home plant as his other half. She doesn't believe it at first and fights against it most the time. Towards the end of the book, in a effort to make her believe it is all real the good guy takes her on a camping/hunting trip. He goes to hunt and she is attacked by an wild animal of that world and the bad guy finds her and gets her healed. In the end she believes it all and it ends with him telling her that she gets to build a house of their own. If anyone can help thanks and sorry I can't give more details on it.

No, neither of the women in The Gatherers worked in construction. Good books though.

I don't know if this helps any but I remember that after the bad guy was caught and they was heading back to the good guy home plant, the girl from earth talked about how when like the bed wasn't in use it would disappear to make more room. She made him leave it out so she felt more at home. And that the outfits the women wore on the good guys plant was basically pieces of cloth that hung down and each family in the village had a color that their women wear. I also remember that the guys would "punish" their wives by getting them really hot and bothered but leave as soon as the did, because the women did not like that. Hopefully this will help.
