I read 12 pages today of Breaking Her Fall. In those pages, Tucker, the dad gets ready to go meet with his lawyer so they can discuss the charges that Jed's dad is trying to charge him with. Because at first they let Tucker go with a misdemeanor, but Jed's dad is trying to charge him with a felony. So tucker goes to talk to his lawyer Brian and they are discussing how Tucker wants to go about this. Also Brian is informing Tucker that Jed's dad has hired a private investigator to investigate and get anything on Tucker that he can. Then he tells him that he has also sent out a private investigator to speak with the other boys that were there that night at the party to try and help there case out since the boys saw everything that happened that night.
