Books I just got in the mail/bought/checked out
Yay! My library finally found Demonglass for me from another library. Now, I can take it off my wish-list.

Just got The Hero of Ages (for my son; I have to read #2 first, which I'm starting today) and Shadowland. Had never heard of Meg Cabot before, but I think she's the featured author this month, so... Also, exciting news, I was just notified that I won a First Reads book: Bleecker Street. . . .The journey of Lovie Maroon! Finally finished Nick Of Time--it seemed good, I just couldn't get into it and it took forever to read. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the new ones.
Started reading the BDB series...blown away after the first two.
I remember when I started the BDB series. I was really into it. I have kind of lost interest now though.

I finally gave in and bought me enough books for the summer on my nook 
I've read them all (BDB). I'm going to read book 10 when it comes out. I still love the first 5 books Sooooo much. But... I have to say that I've lost some of my excitement. Maybe it'll come back over time.
Courtney, those look like some good ones. Lots of them that I want to read.

Maybe it'll come ba..."I think its the lack of the Qhuay story and how they aren't progressing with/in a relationship that made me lose interst. Not enough Qhuay in the book to keep my interest, lol

Then you won't like the newest one. I was irritated with it. There's ZERO interaction between Blay and Qhuinn.I can't wait for the Qhuay Novella. THAT is something I'm still looking forward to.
I think I probably would still be completely invested, but I spent too much time in a group where everything about the book was slammed and disected to the 10th degree and it just caused the shine to come off the series.

Thats why I haven't read the latest book. Everyone said there was no Qhuay at all and I was really looking forward to even one good Qhuay scene. So I gave up. Still need to finish it. Too many books to read and not enough time! I'm sure we all have that problem ;)

okay....so it's been a while since I made ny book purchases...i'd been tapping the source of my local library....but then I went to half price books and fell off the deep end!! lol....okay so I ended up buying 6 books there:

Okay...so in the past 6 weeks I have bought 13 books!!! What!?! Yeah, I know....it's a sickness. Made 2 trips to Half Price Books stores and then bought one book from B&N...here is what I got:

Plus all the ones listed in the post above this one....yeah, eventually I will read all of those too... :o) since that is my sister and all....and we live next door to each other.

Cristina, you'll be fine! I really enjoyed the Gregor the Overlander books and they don't take long to read. Who knew I'd ever think fondly of giant cockroaches?! ;)

I won The Shield that Fell from Heaven through the Giveaways on here (goodreads.com) and just received it through the mail, I'm excited to read it. It's not the same type of books I normally read, but I'm always looking for different books to read.

at the library yesterday. I read the first book and I'm pretty excited to read this one.
Blameless is a paperback the other two I bought for my kindle.
Stormi - I'd really like to start reading the Parasol Protectorate books, do you recommend them? They seem really funny!

Yes, I would recommend them. I really loved Soulless once you get use to the authors writing style. Changeless was different but still good and left you with a cliffhanger ending so its a good thing I am a bit behind so that I didn't have to wait forever to get Blameless..LOL
