Heidi Wow that is a ton of books Megan!

Traci - Sam Club and Target are the two worst places for me to look at books - I always want to buy them!

Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 325 comments I got a Sony Pocket Reader. Not a book exactly but book related and it will make it easier to read my NetGalleys. Now I need to sign up for a library card so I can borrow ebooks for it. I am reading Delirium (Delirium, #1) by Lauren Oliver on it now and LOVING it. I already have a Kindle (1st generation) but I love them both for different reasons. I hope I don't seem like I am bragging. I am just really excited. :) It is so tiny and adorable and has a touch screen. I know... my nerd is showing LOL!

Stormi (StormReads) (bmreviewsohmy) Hey Avegan,

Glad you got your Sony figured out so that you can read your netgalleys. :)

Yes! Thanks. I am very happy. I forgot to mention it is an e-ink touch screen. So it doesn't strain the eyes. I was reading on it last night and lost tract of time LOL. Also it says and expiration date under the info on the book so it is perfect for NetGalley and library because it keeps track of how much time you have left to read them <3

Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 325 comments Nice haul, Alyssa! :) I am reading Delirium right now. I see a lot of people reading it right now. It is interesting so far. I am going to do a bit more reading in a few minutes. I keep wanting to read more and more. :)I am curious about Twenty Boy Summer but I want to read it in the summer time.

message 559: by Traci (new)

Traci bought Sing Me to Sleep by Angela Morrison today when I skipped class in order to walk to the independent bookstore a couple blocks away. (might I add, that it was a comp lit class. ...I skipped a literature class, to go buy books. ..I am ridiculous)

It sounds like a cute read, but I don't know when I'll have time to pick it up. :(

Wendy I've been meaning to get First Grave on the Right but I'm trying to limit my ebook buying to one or two, or as fast as I can read them. (but where is the fun in that right?)

message 565: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) LOL, I need to limit my ebook buying too. It's crazy.

Darynda Jones was chatting with JR Ward on her website last Friday. It piqued my interest.

They are supposed to be getting Kindle function back for NetGalley soon. Only some publishers had it back. None of them were ones I worked with. I also wanted to borrow from the library which I don't think any generation of Kindles can do yet (someone can correct me if I am wrong) I am loving my Sony though. It is so cute and lightweight. It feels so natural to read on it. It is like a small notebook in size. I lucked out and found a cover for it on clearance at Target for about 8 dollars. :) It was originally a 25 or 30 dollar cover I think! :) The cover is light and dark pink. Love it! I still love my Kindle and have lots of books I haven't read on it so I am trying to alternate between both readers and paper books.

message 567: by Heidi (new)

Jaimie (jaimier) | 1275 comments So my Borders is closing and they have put everything 20-40% off and I made my bf drop by before our movie date on Saturday because I was afraid that everything would be gone. I usually go in with a list of books that I want but this time I was flying blind and battling masses of people but I grabbed Alanna The First Adventure (Song of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce Fallen (Fallen, #1) by Lauren Kate Looking for Alaska by John Green - stoked because when i read it before it was a library book and now it is all mine! and A Witch In Time by Madelyn Alt Now I need to get a list together and go back armed and ready. I couldn't believe how many freaking people were there - each had at least 5 books in their arms.

message 595: by Gwennie (new)

My mom went in and didn't end up getting anything. She said the line was wrapped around the store.

I'm on vacation next week so I'm tempted to drop the rugrat off at school and get there first thing in the morning, lol.
