well, my sister was actually reading the book with her feet, like she was holding it with her feet under the table and looking down. The principal came into the room and noticed her not doing her work, but looking down, and walked behind her and saw her reading! That was funny!! :)

haha the pause is VERY important. I always yell out spells too, though since the trailer for TDH I've started saying 'The boy who lived, come to die [dramatic pause, again vital] AVADA KEDAVRA!! on a regular basis...

I actually do own a wand. Hermione Granger's to be exact. The only problem is that only my grandparents respond to my spells. My sister goes out of her way to do exactly the opposite of the spells I cast on her!
