Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments I noticed some members chatting about getting snarky comments or Judge Judy looks from people when they spot what they're reading.

Has this happened to you? Do you hide your sexy book covers from peeping eyes? Prefer to read your erotic paranormal romances on your eReader to avoid these situations?

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 1854 comments I read all sexy or embarrassing covers at home. They never get seen in public and also got rid of the Facebook link to Goodreads for precisely this reason. I always get militantly defensive when people question me about what or how much I read.

Shanon (boban) I have a widget that shows what I'm currently reading on my personal blog. It's not a very busy blog but my grandma looks at it. I wonder what she thinks of some of my selections at times but figure if she blushes then I've done my job for the day! I've even thought about putting some REALLY suggestive books on my currently reading just to see who would react and how.

I read ebooks but I think I might have fun reading some of the more taboo books in public (especially ones with the suggestive covers). Even if was just to raise an eyebrow or two. I don't want people to get too comfortable around me ;)

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments :) ya know, Judge Judy, Nosey Nancy, they're all related.

Regina (reginar) | 2883 comments I definitely use covers on sexy or erotic covers -- so as not to expose my kids and also when I read on the train b/c I usually see neighbors (parents of my kids friends) and work colleagues on the train or even worse -- clients! So yeah, I cover up to hide from all sorts of people or I read on my Kindle.

Judithe | 6566 comments Most people use book covers here, and the local bookstores usually provide a generic cover, no matter what the title! So, I often use a bookcover on mine too...keeps the covers pretty...when I go out (and that's not just for the ones with suggestive covers)
