I have finished my WISHLIST book.Awakened 2 stars read 1/23/2011
I have a love/hate relationship with this series. One book I will kinda love and the next I will pretty much hate. It seems to me that at this point the series is just running around in circles. I am ready for Neferet to just go away. Of course I will read the next one one because I want to see if anything happens. Ya I'm a sucker.

I am the same way on your thinking here...Im a little disappointed that the book wasnt as good as the last one but I will read it just so I can keep up with the series

I know I have been the same way - guess its because we had some shelves announced early due to the holidays & now I am all caught up w/Bingo - ready for another pick myself...
Okay, for some reason, I haven't felt any need to read Storm Glass, so I ended up reading
for my wishlist book.4 stars. I wasn't as crazy about this second book as the first. The humor and sarcasm is still there, and the pop culture references are fun. But, the love triangle wasn't doing it for me, and Merit's attitude was frustrating in how she kept pushing everyone close to her away. Overall, it's still enjoyable and I'll pick up the next one sooner than later.

Havent read that book or first one, for that matter, but I do not like books where the lead female character is as you describe. Based on others reviews of Hush, Hush I decided not to read it. Ready for the next shelf... Anyone know when it will be announced?

Well I'm only on page 82 and I'm really liking the world building, but things have gone a bit predictably so far. Still liking it though.

Thia was a quick read that I really enjoyed. I felt bad for Janie having kept her secret for so many years and then to finally tell someone and think that the person is not what he seems. I was a bit confused for a short time thinking that Cabel was two different people, but glad that that got cleared up. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
Congrats Jackie on finishing your book. I had to come home a little early as we are now getting the ice that was promised us last night. Not sure if I will make it to work tomorrow just depends on road conditions...but I plan on getting some reading time in later & if I dont make out tomorrow then I will have even more time to read :) I am almost half-way with my book.
Sallie I live in Minnesota and I am so ready for winter to be over with.
Jackie I can so identify with that - I went to school @ the Univ of Wisc-Stevens Point & my roommate was from Red Wing....Love Minnesota but you can have it in the winter - yuck LOL
I finished my read last night...Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur..4*s for me...this was a 1st time read by this author & I really liked her. The story was good & I felt I got to know the characters pretty quick so it was easy to follow. The sex parts were hot & steamy so I think the rating should be XXX but the Kindle managed ok - no fires but it was touch & go there for a bit LOL....I have to continue with the next book just so I can find out what happens with Riley & Quinn. The book just ended without any resolution between those 2 characters so be prepared for a cliffhanger.

I am glad I read this book. The story and the characters really stayed with me after I was done with it. I was happy that there is a free ebook online so I could continue with these characters while I wait for the next book The Iron Daughter to be available at the library.
Meghan Chase is finding out that things she's only read about in books are real. Her young brother was taken and she's doing all she can to find out who took him and rescue him. There are two cute boys... a hilarious talking cat...and deals with fey that Meghan may come to regret.
Loved the world building. There were somethings that were very expected, but overall, I really enjoyed this book and only expect the series to get better and better.

One of the things I like about the series is there's 3 books out already! From what I understand this was supposed to be a trilogy, but a fourth book is coming out later this year from the POV of one of the male characters.

I guess I could quit reading but that's not going to happen so I just deal with the ever growing TBR..I noticed that were only suppose to be 3 books too but Im glad that there will be 4 hopefully maybe more.

This book is just solid UF fun. I don't even know how to talk about it without any spoilers. Or maybe I just need sleep now and my brain isn't functioning fully...This book goes outside of the usual vampire house politics as they get involved with the shifters. I'm definitely liking the Merit in this book more than in the previous one, she seems more comfortable with herself or something. The rambling has started so I'll just say a great series overall :)
