Shelleyrae: Clockwork Angel
Sallie: Archangel's Kiss
Jackie: Hunting Ground

Thanks Steph - it's our annual trip to the Music City & I have a blast....going to Legends on Fri night to party YeeHaw

Vivian will be joining your team, replacing Marianna, who I've been unable to connect with.
WELCOME TO THE GAME, Vivian! :D

Change effective immediately
Due to Team 2, The G.L.O.B.s, being short one member, I am changing the required reading needed to achieve "shelf credit" down to FOUR books.
Each team member is still required to read a book for each shelf.
New Rule: As soon as FOUR books are read, rated & reviewed, that team will get credit for that shelf.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this change. Thanks & Happy Reading!

I actually read Dark Lover last week - and pretty much agree with ShelleyRae's review. It was fine, but definitely more of a UF girl too.
Questions:
1. Is it okay to read the same book as someone else?
2. What are the "three options" for the free space that Steph mentioned earlier?
Okay, off to find a vampire-romance book...
**edit**
Think it's down to Evernight or Dark Prince.

Answers:
1. Absolutely! :)
2. To get free space credit, each team member must pick a book from one of these three options:
(1) SOS' October BOM: Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
OR
(2) A book off of any of the group's October new release threads found here
OR
(3) A book off of the group's bookshelf (any shelf/tag)
***Be sure to post on your team's thread: which book you chose for FREE SPACE credit, which of the three options above you chose to pick your book, your rating and your review. Once all members of each team have posted that information, your team will get "a stamp" in the FREE SPACE. :D
NOTE: Since the game will go on past October, I've opened up options 1-2 to "any month's book while the game is active". So, since we already know that Nov's BOM is Alpha by Rachel Vincent, you could choose to read that vs. Clockwork Angel , or any book listed on the "Nov new release/next-in-series" lists found here and so on.
Members don't have to pick and read a book now, they can, but it's not required. You can choose which book to read and when to read it, but no team will get free space credit until all members have read, rated & reviewed a book chosen from one those options.
Hope that helps. :)

probably Clockwork Angel. I'll let you guys know if I change my mind.

Happy Reading everyone - I'll check back in later today/tonight & then again tomorrow..I may have to change my pick for the free space so I will be checking into doing that

I'm going to pick Warrior by Zoe Archer as my Free Space read.

I just picked that up from the library yesterday and I can't wait to start it.

I have not done much reading today because my family and I went and had some family fun by bowling and playing at the arcade. The kids are good and worn out so now it time to do some reading.

I'm still schlepping thru my book - its good but doesnt hold my attention for very long - must have been the headache from yesterday still lingering...dang I hate these things it takes me days to get over them...hope everyone had a great day & that you found some reading time...talk to everyone later

This book continues the story of Jim Heron who is tasked with coming in to a person's life when they're at a crossroads and helping them choose the right path. The decision of these seven people will decide if the souls of everyone on Earth (and those who've passed on) will belong to Heaven or Hell.
I enjoyed the first book in the series, Covet. I felt like this one wasn't as polished. The romance that built between Isaac and Grier felt like it developed too quickly. I have read many books where the characters fell in love within a couple of days or so of meeting and have liked many of those. This one, just didn't seem right. This one just didn't hold my interest very well. I won't give up on the series though and will continue to read it.

Haven't been reading the last couple of days, just busy with life and all that jazz but am going to start Covet tonight, will review it when finished :)
Sorry to hear about the migraine Sallie, hope you're all recovered now.

No worries, Vivian, it's completely up to you! :)

The headache is better but still tries to raise it's ugly head today for some reason - thanks for all of the well wishes....

First book of the Fallen Angels series. Jim Heron is chosen to decide the fate of the world with a mission to save seven souls from the seven deadly sins. He is the type of character I can read about, liked him in this book.
First off, I'm glad the names are more normal in this series (compared to BDB), although I was not digging the name Marie-Terese. I think the book was also a little long considering not much happened with Devina, who I thought was supposed to be the main villain of the story. The romance/sex also seemed a little out of place at times, but it's a PR book, so I half-expect it. Adrian and Eddie were intriguing, and I'm looking forward to finding out more about them.
I did like it enough to continue with the series at some point, but I'm not in a hurry.
**edit**
Any book that mentions Hieronymus Bosch on the first page gets points with me. I almost upped a star just for that

PS I made a big dent in my pages left for Kiss of Midnight I will update shortly...
Shelleyrae: Completed
Jackie: Completed
Amanda: Completed
Vivian: Completed
Me: Progessing
