Hi team! Looking forward to playing this game with all of you. Any ideas for a team name? I'm not very creative, but I'll try to come up with some ideas.
I've had no luck in coming up with any ideas for a team name. I thought about something related to books (Bingo Bibliophiles or Bingo Bookworms) but those sound cheesy. Any other ideas?
Hmmm, I like the Bingo Bookworms, but I'm up for anything. I'll think on the name and get back if I come up with anything.
BINGO has officially begun!Just a heads up as the first shelf has been posted! The shelf is listed in the shelf announcements link and it's vampire-romance. Happy reading!
Hi Ladies! For our first shelf, Vampire Romance, I'm going to be reading "Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill
I have several to choose from on my TBR and will make my final decision when I finish my current book.
I've read "The Rest Falls Away" and the last one is on it's way from Booksfree. It's a GREAT, GREAT series. A fav of mine. I've also read "New Moon" which I LOVE LOVE and the Sookie series - "Dead Until Dark" - Fantastic.
"At Grave's End" - I just adore this series - it's one of my favs.
You have LOTS of good books to choose from!! :) I look forward to seeing which one you decide to read.
Aske wrote: "Hmmm, I like the Bingo Bookworms, but I'm up for anything. I'll think on the name and get back if I come up with anything."Hi Aske, I'm tallying up the books for each team and was wondering if you'd picked one yet. If not, no rush. If so, could you please post a note here. Thanks :)
FYI TO ALL PLAYERS:I created a spreadsheet to help me keep track of player & team stats throughout the challenge. You are welcome to view it HERE . Edits are not allowed, please do not make any changes to the spreadsheet. If any information is incorrect, please let me know. Thanks!
Sorry it has taken me so long, but I FINALLY got around to my computer. I shall be reading Night's Cold Kiss by Tracey O'Hara.
Steph wrote: "Ooo, I've got that one in a challenge TBR. I'll be anxious to read your review. Hope ya like it."Hopefully the book gets here soon because I just requested it from one of my libraries. Am really looking foward to it. :D
UPDATE: Rule ChangeChange effective immediately
Due to Team 2, The G.L.O.B.s, being short one member, I am changing the required reading needed to achieve "shelf credit" down to FOUR books.
Each team member is still required to read a book for each shelf.
New Rule: As soon as FOUR books are read, rated & reviewed, that team will get credit for that shelf.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this change. Thanks & Happy Reading!
Okay, I read for O4, "Vampire Romance"
and give it ★★★★★Warning: Little Spoiler.....
I really enjoyed this one a lot! I loved the plot and found it interesting, the characters were really likable and witty. I really like Merit and I could sympathize with her because she was "real". It was complicated and not easily tied up with "girl gets boy". You can feel Merit's heartbreak when she, in fact, does not quite "get the boy". I really liked this and I'll definitely be reading the second ASAP! :)
Oh definitely - my favorite part was the commentary. I'd SO want to be friends with Merit and Mallory :)
I read Clockwork Angel for the free space (finished 10/17) and I really enjoyed it. I have only read City of Bones from the Mortal Instruments series and I'm thinking about re-reading it before catching up with that series since this is a prequel. It was a little slow in the beginning, but once the action picked up it was very entertaining. I liked Tessa and Will ok. It will be interesting to see how their relationship develops in future books. One of my favorite characters was Jem. The author has said that the next book will be more Jem's book and I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes. I loved the setting and time period as well as the steampunk vibe in this book. I haven't read much in the steampunk genre, but I have really liked the couple of books that I have read so far.I would recommend this book and plan to read the rest of this series. I'm interested to see how the questions left unanswered by the first book are resolved.

Glad to hear you liked Some Girls Bite, Angi. That is one I keep hearing good things about and want to get from Booksfree soon.
I read "Clockwork Angel" for the BOTM... does that count for the free space as well?WTG Amanda! I really, really love the Cat-Bones series. I cannot wait until the next one comes out. Enjoy!!! :)
Angi, it counts if you write a review, date and rating here on the thread, providing you read it after the start date of Bingo. Go for it!
WTG Amanda! I really, really love the Cat-Bones series. I cannot wait until the next one comes out. Enjoy!!! :)"Also love the Cat-Bones series and am desperately wainting for the next book to come out.
I know that I haven't read the book for the first shelf *curses slow mailing system* but I started for the free space. I'm reading Elijah by Jacquelyn Frank
Don't you hate it when book delivery is SLOW!!!!!!! Makes me feel a bit homicidal! LOL! Hope yours arrives soon!
Judithe wrote: "Don't you hate it when book delivery is SLOW!!!!!!! Makes me feel a bit homicidal! LOL! Hope yours arrives soon!"Thanks. The book arrived just yesterady and I had to restrain myself from glaring at the mailman. :D
Ummm, lets see. Elijah by Jacquelyn Frank was a good book. Kind of slow at points but overall I liked it. Night's Cold Kiss by Tracey O'Hara was creepy, a bit sick, sexy, and has me waiting to read the next book in this series. It was rushed at a lot of points so that was disappointing. I'm cerious as to where she plans to take her story though.
Glad you got your package, Aske. Hard not to wanna take it out on the messenger. LOL!In order to get credit for both books, could you please post your date read and rating (1-5★) for each? Thanks! :)

Angi, are you going to use Clockwork Angel as your Free Space read? If so, just post your read date, review and rating and your team will get the credit for it. :)
