Have you read Soulless???

Has anyone read Soulless by Gail Carriger? I'm tempted to buy it because I'm interested in reading a steam punk novel but I'm sort of turned off by all the vampires and werewolves. Also, my mom is wary about it because she's not sure if there's any inappropriate sensual content in the book because if there is then I'm not allowed to read it. If anyone could give me their reviews and why they did or did not enjoy the book that would be great!

I have. It's an adult book and there are sexual references, although it's not as steamy as a lot of adult romances.

It reads like a historical and has a Victorian era feel. It's more steampunk than paranormal. I liked it, but didn't love it. This series is one of those love or hate type deals for most and I'm probably one of the only people that didn't love or hate it but found it sort of middle of the road. (but then again, I'm not normal...)
