I don't know where to put this... I've gone over all the threads carefully and I don't see Dex anywhere so...

Did anyone watch the season opener last night??!!!

I pretty much sobbed through the whole thing.
Just when you though that you had seen some great T.V. over the Summer, the Dexter clan comes back and knocks you out of the park...

Ooohhh. crap! I haven't seen the final four episodes from last year yet and I completely missed the season premire too.... I didnt even remember to dvr it!!!

Try to see the last 4, I think you can go to Showtime online and do that, before you watch the season premiere. It was really good.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! I'm not current yet, but I'm almost there. I've been watching it through www.sidereel.com incase anyone's interested. :)

AHH! Oh, Dexter. We finished season 4, like two days before season 5 premier...but didn't manage to get Showtime until the day after. If you get Showtime On Demand they had all of season 4 on there (not sure, if they still do, will look later), along with the season premier.

Has anybody read the books one which the show was based by Jeff Lindsay? The first one is 1) Darkly Dreaming Dexter, than 2) Dearly Devoted, Dexter, next 3) Dexter in the Dark, follow by 4) Dexter By Design and Lindsay just released 5) Dexter Is Delicious.

Book one follows season one almost word for word...with a few differences...I am working on the rest but it is going kind of slow.

I haven't read the books; my wife's read some of them, and she says that the show diverges after season one.

I'd lost interest in Dex a little bit, despite my love for whats-his-name who plays him, but the end of last season rekindled my interest considerably.
