I really dislike the "Petals on the Wind" stepback. It freaks me out. But to be honest, all the "FitA" graphics kinda do besides the last one. :/

i agree that not having the inner portrait covers takes away from the books. it's tradition, damnit :P

So true. It is pretty freaky.
Has anyone seen the foreign covers for these books? Some of those are gorgeous! Like look at this one: http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/B...

I agree, I liked the family portraits from the earlier ones!

For me, it's a tie between Cutler and Landry stepbacks. I totally agree with what Jody said about them looking like family portraits. What I love about the Landry ones is that they always looked like a still from a crazy soap opera- especially 'All that Glitters'- comas, babies, jealous husbands, and evil twins. It always made me laugh a little when I saw it.

Agree! I have first editions of those series- I love the holographic on those!

Another one that had me scratching my head was "If There Be Thorns". You're expecting Jory to have blue-black curls, but the kid peering through the window is a brunette with straight hair! Guess the artist didn't read the book?

Yeah, I don't think they did on a few of these lol- but that's part of the charm I guess.
Mine is probably the entire "Dawn" series. I like that each looks like a family photo. I'm not so much for the "scene" settings. I also don't like the books without them. It takes away part of the VCA feel. :/
Please tell me your thoughts ...
