Alex Gates (savvyvampireluvr) | 43 comments Im sorry but what type of question is that? What does it matter about their blood anyways. Its just kinda there, thats it done.

Linds Liu (belinda2000) Yeah, I was thinking about that, too. Because if the heart's dead, then how does the blood get pumped to the rest of the body? Or does it just move by itself? Hmmm....

Yasmin (dreamsfromanotherplanet) | 285 comments The answer to that is (and this is actually said in Eclipse by Jasper so If you havent read the book DO NOT READ THIS!!!)
-------Spoiler--------

When they are turned into vampires, as newborns, they use all their blood up in their muscles, that is why newborns are so much stronger than normal vampires. But after about a year, this blood is used up and their strength fades to that of a normal vampire. This is what Jasper tells us and so does Edward at some point :D

Cassidy Savage (savagegy6) I have a weird thought...Edward takes a bite of Bella's pizza at lunch on day in Twilight...if he doesn't have to go to the bathroom what happens to that? After a hundred years of once in a while eating something to blend in with humans...wouldn't the waste add up?

Julie (onetrooluff) He had to go throw it back up later. Stephenie said it in a interview. Actually, there's a really funny story related to that if you scroll down on this page to the entry from April 16, 2008:

The movie page on Stephenie's website

Oh, Peter Facinelli. You crack me up. XD

Lise (Iria) | 5 comments I think it's frozen too, but the blood they drink flows for a couple of days and that's why they have to drink blood.
