Should we start the monthly group reads back up?
We've taken a break from them for a while...
Anyone want to suggest any for October?

Cathy (cgraceh) | 422 comments Or maybe in tribute of RDI, we could look up an RDI book published in October of any year?

Kourtney (readthateventually) | 1215 comments Amazon has shipped Mini-Shopaholic to me and I should have it by tomorrow!! Yippie!! Of course now I want to re-read the entire series.

I nominate Lust Loathing and a Little Lip Gloss by Kyra Davis - not an RDI but the fourth book of a RDI series.

Awesome, I was just wondering if anyone was going to respond on this...

Cathy - I used to have a list somewhere as to which RDI books were published during which month/year. I can't remember if it was on here (Goodreads) or on my personal computer though....

Since it's so late in the month, I'm not going to do a poll. Instead, I'll just go from this and how many times a book is nominated/voted for. Is that ok?

Suzanne | 767 comments My vote is for Mini Shopaholic! I am going to go buy it after work. I have a gift card I've been saving so I can get it. :)

Ashley Do you have to have read the Shopaholic series before reading Mini Shopaholic?

message 10: by Joanne (new)

Joanne (joelizrado) | 95 comments probably not, she usually does a good job of summarizing in the beginning of her books, but if you want they are great reads!

I would say it's best to so you can enjoy ALL the fun but I'm sure you can enjoy it without having read them before.

Jen B (jennybee618) I just got Mini-Shopaholic from the library yesterday, so that one sounds good to me! (Yes, I'm still here!)

I agree with Kourtney & Joanne, you don't have to read it from the beginning to enjoy the book. There's always a bit of the backstory in there, just enough to let you know where she's coming from. But when you get a chance Ashley, read the whole series, you'll love it!

Ok, looks like it's going to be Mini Shopaholic!
I'm #7 on the wait list at my library so hopefully I'll get it sooner rather than later, they only ordered two copies!
