I am labeling the novels that I have added to the bookshelf (or the ones that I know which sub-genre they are) with sub-genre labels like gothic-romance, gothic-horror, gothic-mystery.
Hopefully, these labels will make it easier to choose books you might like to read when you are perusing the shelf for ideas. :) When there is genre overlap or uncertainty, I try to label using two applicable labels.
