Will vs. Jace
They are really alike. But I love Will more.For those who read CoLS, there's a quote of Jace that's the exact same thing Will said in CA. The one Jace says he hates ducks, that he doesn't know why but always have. It was so cute!! Had me reminiscing Clockwork Angel and the love of my life, Will.

I liked Will a little more, just because he has more of a dark & broody nature. He seems more mature, too.Jace just seems a bit... flippant. But this has a lot to do with my personal preference & the era's they were both born in.
Ever since CoFA and CoLS, I have been team Will. But it also have to do with the era the boys were born in like Elizabeth said.
i love both of them. they both fit with the lyrics "boys dont cry" by the cure.(well, that's way back from my era. ha ha ha) I try to laugh about it

I am curently reading City of Bones...I like Jace but my heart is devoted to Will!!
Team Jace here! I love Will but Jace is way better. he totally erased Edward,Harry,Robien and Strider the first time ive known him (ha ha..)
Will my babaaaaaayyyyy, ahahah, but it's a pretty hard choice because they are both amazing.... and hot.
I can't believe how similar Will is to Jace! Cassandra Clare did an amazing job at creating the qualities of the two Herondale's so similar. Jace has always been sarcastic, witty and full of himself and so is Will- except that will is more articulate, in that old fashioned way. I absolutely love it. But I don't know how I can choose between a sexy old fashioned shadowhunter or a sexy modern shadowhunter.

Will is mean for a reason, whereas Jace is just really full of himself. Even though they're almost the same, I can't help but not like Jace and love Will

Yeah. At first I didn't really realize it... (probably because I didn't read CA yet) but hese guys helped me figure it out. And then I realized... NO!!!! WILL AND JEM SHOULD BE DEAD, BECAUSE THEY AREN'T IMMORTAL... I was a bit devastated.

I like Will A LOT better than Jace, mainly because I like TID more than TMI. Jace really annoys me especially in the City of Lost Souls.Will can also be very kind, but I haven't noticed Jace doing anything nice. And I can't see why Clary likes Jace, besides his good looks.

I don't think of Jace in the same category as Will so it's kind of weird to think of his last name as Herondale.

After CoLS I think of Jace as some reincarnation of Will- both are witty and sarcastic and hate ducks. Will has a reason (there's an extra for that), but Jace has always just hated them without knowing why. So there's no real OR for me, they are the same person, just different lives :)
OH gosh.. I finished CP2... and now, every time I see the word "will" or the name "William, James, or Will", I want to start crying... and i'm reading this book with the name 'James" in it every 2 pages.... oh gosh... oh gosh...I LOVE YOU WILL....

Yes, but what is the fun in reading books if you don't have arguments about which character is the best- even if they aren't in the same book? I mean, that's what the tournament of heroines and crushes are for (YA Sisterhood).
