What is up with the Herondales in being so emo and depressing? Don't get me wrong, I love Will (though I'm actually Team Jem--how can you resist?) because everything he says is just SO FUNNY. Jace, I can't really stand. I don't know why, I mean Jace and Will are alot alike. Though, from what I've heard aboout Will in Clockwork Prince (haven't read it yet, but I've heard stuff), I doubt I'll like him as much.

The Clockwork Prince explains why Will is the way he is. His story is a sad one. You'll get why he behaves like that, poor sweetie. :(
They're both alike, but I like Will a lot more. He's more charming. To me Will is perfect... Jace can get boring with his love for Clary. Will is more a mystery even if we know that he loves Tessa.

I wouldn't say Jace is boring, but...ah WILL! He is just so much even more complex, and funny, and hot, and amazing...I love him. And Jace too. And Jem!
I love Will. I love the way he can relate to books. He makes me laugh especially about ducks and demon pox! His "friendship" with Gabriel is funny. The fact that he was broken makes my heart ache.But i also do like Jace too. But not so much as Will and Jem. Maybe it's because i'm more attracted to guys with darker hair. ;P
I personally love both Jace and Will. They both have a tendancy to make me laugh.
i love Jace to bits and he deserves to be happy because he's so sweet and kind, but she deserves to be happy aswell and she really loves Will :) (so do i ;D)

I love them both. Theres just something (alot) about those two Herondale boys that make me love them SOO SOO MUCH!!!
I like Jem and Will more than Jace. Jace, I knew that somehow he would end up with Clary but in TID you don't know if Jem will be with Tessa or if Will would be. Everytime i think that I am team Will I immediatly think of Jem and feel soooo bad for him if Will got Tessa. But then everytime that i think I am team Jem i feel soooo bad for Will because he deserves Tessa as much as Jem does.... I am heartbroken between the two... 3
I like both, its hard to pick but...Jaceits cuz Will is kinda weird at the end
he goes all crazy about Tessa after and doesnt have that attitude i like anymore.

Yup, Clary became annoying in FoA...Just like Jace. I wish Cassie ended the series with City of Glass...But that's just how I feel. :)And I think that the next two books will be even worse...That's why I prefer TID. I love Will, Tessa and Jem.

clary is really annoying. Actually, I find a lot of YA heroines annoying. I really only read those books for the plot, and the BOYS...!

You should read the Night World series if you haven't already! I like most of the female and male characters from that series. Katsa (Graceling) & Katniss (Hunger Games) are my two favorite heroines. Tessa isn't bad either, at least so far.

The thing is: I like that Cassandra Clare is continuing her Mortal Instruments series. I just think that she should have made Simon the new main character, leaving Clary and Jace's situation as it was, instead of complicating it even more. ._.
but i think simon can get annoying.... (well, before he became all vampire and marked and stuff..) now that my opinion of him has changed somewhat...a story about how he copes with his mark will be interesting...
